Sooooo I had my first ever gallery exhibition opening this past weekend!!!! I am so thankful to all my friends and family who came to support me and the other artists showing! I was honored with the Curators Choice Award for my piece “Exploring the Unexplained #6” and it will be added to the Roberts Wesleyan College permanent collection!!! I will post some close ups of my work in the next few days!

ビアズリー

比亞茲萊（Beardsley）

テレビでビアズリーを見て、思わず写真を撮った。

何が気になるのかは、よく分からない。

在電視上看到比亞茲萊，忍不住拍了照片。

說不上來是什麼地方吸引我。

正直、最初は

不思議に引きつけられる、深い絵だなー、

それくらいの感覚だった。

でも、絵を感じてみると、

ただ「寂しい」と思った。

老實說，一開始只是覺得

這是一幅讓人感到奇妙、很深的畫，

大概就是那樣的感覺。

但試著去感受這幅畫時，

心裡只浮現出一個詞——「寂寞」。

人は何人も描かれているのに、

誰も相手を見ていない。

みんな、自分の内側だけを見ている…。

そんな気がした。

畫裡明明描繪了好幾個人，

卻沒有人在看對方。

大家好像都只看著

自己的內心……

我有這樣的感覺。

あ、これが「絵を見る」ってことなのかもしれない。

絵ってどんなふうに見ればいいのか、

ずっと分からなかったけど、

正解を当てることじゃなくて、

自分が何を感じたかを信じることなんだって、知った。

啊，或許這就是

所謂「看畫」這件事吧。

一直以來我都不明白

畫到底該怎麼看，

但我明白了，

不是去找出正確答案，

而是相信

自己實際感受到的東西。

もしかしたら私は、

絵の中の人の孤独を見ていたんじゃなくて、

人と人の間に生まれる

「距離」を見ていたのかもしれない…。

也許我看到的，

並不是畫中人物的孤獨，

而是

在人與人之間誕生的

「距離」……。
