The Lies I Protected

they speak my name as though they know me, deep within i reside, death aside i find the broken signs in the echoes of my lies slowly reforming me into something else, she smiles like everyone does the eyes shines just as bright and the voice sounds like wind chimes i desperately watch through, inside where the knocking doesn’t seem to win.

they speak my name as though they know me, like in those opens fields that i hide in the tall, winding grass seems to be a wall with no way through but the aching wind i can almost smell that sweet scent of life but here i stand staring in, trying to fit in, hopelessly lost in this tunnelling mind of greed only ever turning black as the dust dance with the wind there nothing left to fight within.

Just a little something of my own thoughts.

Stuck in a loop, not knowing where to go, not knowing how to start. Filling time with meaningless things to feel something. I drain myself with endless nonsense, simply just observing the lives of others while avoiding mine. The media which was meant to be social is just the orphan kid outside the window of a family on a Christmas night. The family gathered by the fire looking happy, the orphan wanting that and more. The warmth, the companionship, and the life better than theirs. “Wish that was me”. “That looks better”. The wishes in the head says. “Influencers”, Here to influence the way you think and the way you act. What about the voice inside you used to just listen to? What about just looking in, instead of out? All these outside voices have clouded your mind with, “their thoughts”. They aren’t yours, just influential, convincing in their own right. Shut off the noise. We are our own souls seeking satisfaction. “Creators”, be satisfied with ourselves not everyone’s approval. For now we share our lives, this image of appreciation. Its on the rise, acceptance, seeking acceptance. We all wanna be accepted. Maybe just accept yourself first and continue. My friend… Be only influenced by your searching soul, the true desire within.

Healing Myself

At times seeking out a professional’s help is not the right answer

Sometimes all it takes is your own self just to be able to heal you

Occasionally it only takes hermit time so you can be your healer

Not every issue you’ve is one that another can help you through

I’m here being in hermit mode and I’m right here healing myself

Over here like the high priestess and trying with healing myself

I have got to start looking within me to start up on healing myself

Requiring me looking within helps me learn about healing myself

This is a time of learning about myself and finding answers within

Some of your struggles are meant to be healed by your own being

Sometimes the subconscious is where the answers are residing in

Not everything needed is meant for you to have the ability of seeing

I’m here being in hermit mode and I’m right here healing myself

Over here like the high priestess and trying with healing myself

I have got to start looking within me to start up on healing myself

Requiring me looking within helps me learn about healing myself

There’s never gonna be straight answers about any of your shit

Just look inside of yourself and see what answers can be found

They always say for you to keep persevering and to not ever quit

Sometimes the answers are residing inside you safe and sound
