4 Tone Trick Grid (color mapped) Inspired by a static image seen on freepik, this grid provides a perceptive optical illusion trough tiling and simple shading. It was created from scratch in After Effects using keyframed shape layers fed as custom particle in Trapcode Particular and formed into a grid with access to checkerboard pattern layer mapping and seed values for procedural features (time offset, color palette). Color is applied generatively skipping 1 tile. Each animated tile plays loop starting from a random frame. After Effects Source File

Cringetober Day 5: Favourite Cliché. My favourite cliché; one dimensional edgy character. They're usually relegated to a gag character or antagonist, and have very few personality traits outside of being gloomy and contrarian. I pulled examples from media I like, from left to right and top down: Sasuke (Naruto), Amy (Looped), Marceline (Adventure Time, at the start of the show anyway), Cid (Fangbone), Gaz (Invader Zim), and Robbie (Gravity Falls).
