Jane burst into infirmary grumbling to himself. He gives a brief scan, and when he doesn’t immediately see anyone he grumbles even more. He’s not even saying words, just making sounds for the sake of making sounds. “DOC!” He bites out. Less out of pain and more out of displeasure. He holds up a handless arm and shakes it around a bit. “I need a hand!”

“A...Wedding proposal?” The viper questioned. Of course, her current territory down in the deep sea was quite vast at this point, considering how many other predators she’s driven out. In all fairness, if a ten foot merperson with five inch teeth was roaming around, that would be a good reason to concede. However, this message was interesting to her. With a toothy grin, she began to swim to the area that was added onto the note. After all, how many times has she been asked to meet someone?

He wasn’t sure how he’d gotten caught. Well, ok, he knew how he’d been caught. he’d been running on a week of no sleep and his little hidey-hole nest hadn’t been as hidey as he’d planned. Talon had swooped in so fast it was clear they’d been following him. He’d been tranq’d so quickly he’d only had the change to scorch one of them to death.

And there he lay, curled in some cold metal room, fireproof, claw-proof, and nearly soundproof, prevented from shifting and far too small for such a massive form to move. So he kept wing to side and tail curled in on himself. He’d kill them as soon as he could figure out a, what they wanted and b, how they kept him from shifting. Bastards.
