Approximately 5 people about Gandus blasting Hermod: oh no oh fuck that’s tragic
Everyone else:
Too much hermod hate here’s some headcannons
He has the potential to be a wizard but got exiled when he and Gandus broke up
He thinks his handlebar mustache makes him look cool
He and Gandus used to sail the seas, but then she developed Sea Sickness, and gave him an ultimatum like “It’s either me or the boat”, and he picked the Boat.
Him and Dec used to sail together. There may have been some spark between them, but then Dec got his own boat, and Hermod stole it dooming himself to loneliness, and stranding Dec on his own, taking his heart with him
He is a short 5′7.5, barely taller than Jordan and he lords it over him
He sailed to Niflheim before the worlds were synced up, and was originally Angrec’s Champion.
Angrec did not like the fact that he likes boats
Angrec used him as a pawn in her war against Fenrir
He does steampunk stuff
To keep Hermod from being lonely, Angrec gave him friends in the form of crew for his ship, but they were only constructs of hers, and thus unable to come with him
His crew did not have many braincells at all, and so he became over protective of them, it was very jarring when he met the champions, and so he kept checking on them in the ruins, because if it had been his crew they would have died.
He still thinks Karls name is Kyle
During “The Gap”™️ he betrayed Angrec, and became a follower of Dianite one night while drinking on his boat alone.
Things escalated from there because he was lonely
Sometimes people call him Hermy and it pisses him off
He still has Angrec’s protection from The Darkness though, because she knows he wouldn’t survive if he didn’t have it
Might be related to Capsize and Greybeard
He becomes Rupert the Grey after he dies
He takes infrequent showers
If he had tumblr his header would be the same as mine, but his entire blog would be devoted to pictures of boats with oddly horny captions
They’d be disturbing enough for Staff to ban, and he’s on blog 3, and doesnt change his content at all
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, I had to defend Hermod, because no one else is.
A few memes from the same interaction
killing hermod is the sexiest thing gandus has ever done
If any of the mianite story makers are looking through see this,,, I propose a idea,,, how about on Monday when y’all do the excution on trying to find who has the darkness, how about instead of making the one we all expect it to be, Karl, you go for the absolute least expect, the most innocent one of the bunch, Jordan, THAT WOULD BE SO DOPE COME ON I WANT A UNEXPECTED TWISTED AND THE DARKNESS TO TAKE CAPTAINSPARKLEZ OVER PLEASEEEEEEEEEE
JORDAN YOU CANT CALL OUT TUMBLR SHIPPING LIKE THAT

That was the legend that the villagers whisper to one another. Dec, who lived it, gave a version that portrayed the Champions and the gods at their best. But the gods and Dec, they know the truth. And like most cases, the truth was not pretty.
@transvav part two
Hermod’s most liked trait is that he’s dead
