Monthly GFantasy: Issue 12 of 2025
Monthly GFantasy's December 2025 issue will be released on November 18, 2025, and will include Chapter 220.
The official English translation should be available on the same day (or the day before, depending on your time zone).
The magazine's extra for this issue is an illustration sheet of the July 2025 cover.
The upcoming chapter marks the end of the manga's brief hiatus (it paused in October 2025). The manga is currently in the Blue Revenge Arc.

Happy New Year 2026!
2026 is the year of the horse! This should make one particular favourite equine (and his owner!) very happy.
In 2014, Yana posted this illustration to mark the year of the horse then:
Further, while Ciel is not very fond of sports in general, he does enjoy horseback riding! (Character Guide, page 140) And, of course, on his side of the chessboard, he's always accompanied by his "proof of sin," the black knight/horse Sebastian.
On Dec. 31, 2025, Yana reflected on her very busy year (on the Kuroshitsuji front, she, i.a., resumed the serialisation of the manga with Chapter 214 in April after going into hiatus in July 2024, enjoyed both the anime and the musical adaptations of the Emerald Witch Arc, celebrated the 19th anniversary of her manga, received an award, saw the reveal of the Sano Kuroshitsuji manhole covers, attended Anime Japan 2025 and the wrap-up party for Seasons 4 and 5, and opened the Black Label Memorial Arcade) and noted that she has a lot planned for 2026 :)

For now, we don't know what these plans will entail, but we can, at least, specifically look forward to the "Farewell to the Werewolves' Forest" event on Jan. 17, 2026!
There will be two performances of this event (one daytime and one nightime one) held at the Makuhari International Training Center's Symposium Hall. The voice actors of Sebastian, Sieglinde, Wolfram, Mey-Rin, Finnian, Baldroy, and Snake are scheduled to attend the event. It will be moderated by Chiaki Matsuzawa.
One could obtain tickets by purchasing Volume 1 and 2 of the Emerald Witch Arc DVD/Blu-ray. Alternatively, it is possible to buy streaming tickets on eplus. (This option does not seem to be available for overseas fans, however.)
In Dec. 2024, a similar event was held for Season 4 as well ("AFTER the MIDNIGHT TEA PARTY ～A Return to Weston College～").
The only reason I'm excited for vacation in a week is that I will finally be able to break out my Ciel Phantomhive bikini.
