I have been sitting on this project literally since last summer!! So excited to finally be able to share it with the world. More prints and details coming soon! ・・・ #Repost @laurabyrnes with @repostapp ・・・ I've never cried from looking at a fabric print before...but there was never a Love & Rockets print before....Issue #20 border print, with pieces to arrive in time for Wonder Con. Love & Rockets changed my life. The first issue I bought was #10. As soon as I was done reading it I cut my hair like Hopey's and dyed it blonde. I saw so much of myself in the little, angry teenage rebel. Izzy, the older, introverted Goth mother-hen, offered me a window into my future self. And the beautiful, charismatic, built-like-a-brick-shithouse Penny Century became my muse. I have been dressing Penny Century since I was making dresses. Looking at this print there are so many dresses that could be PUG dresses! I am so grateful to Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez, creators of Love & Rockets and my personal heroes, for agreeing to this collaboration. You will never know how happy you have made me. And of course so many thanks to Sarah Dyer @colorkitten for making it happen from initial collab inquiry, to print design. We will have two more original fabric prints coming from Los Bros Hernandez, one from Jaime and one from Gilbert - also to release in time for wonder con.
