Okay is ANYONE gonna talk about the state of Tuah’s archives. Wdym you’ve been alive 2300 years and you’re storing material like that. At least it seems climate controlled but books just stacked on one another in the ground? No clear organization system? Doesn’t seem like there’s even a quick reference catalog for ANYTHING. I somewhat understand not digitizing things but come on man. Maybe you could’ve scanned and digitized your material in a closed system and had the digital copies stored with Andy or someone else you trust so there’s second copies of something in case your archives burn down because of the CANDLES. IN AN ARCHIVE. I didn’t see any fire extinguishers or a sprinkler system and I doubt he has a CO2 fire suppression system or any environmental monitors or warning systems set up either. How’s your humidity levels Tuah??? Do you even know??? And the dark room and dark shelves and dark everything? Do you ever do any pest checks? Cause I know it’s hard as hell to find evidence of pests with everything being as dark as you can possibly make it.

And the implication that he keeps the candles burning even when he’s gone oh god. And ANDY DID IT TOO. I know they both know how easily fire spreads. It’s only recently in history that we as humans have been able to keep house fires and such down. I know y’all know better good lord.

Anyway. Anyone else think about that while watching it because I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

I do want to replay Fire Emblem Heroes, you know? But as I've already written in other posts, I lost all the progress I'd made in that game years ago. And I really, really don't want to start from scratch. I did it before, so you could argue I should just bite the bullet and restart it again. But listen. My attention span is weak. I would inevitably end up deleting the game after a while, and then this cycle would start up anew.

So I think it's just gonna have to be something I can't do. I can't install this game for the third or fourth time in my life, because I feel like continuous restarting shows just how bad I am at ever keeping up with things or making things work for me. In other words, it's just a whole new way for me to shame myself.

Thinking about the mobile game has slightly reinvigorated my interest in Fire Emblem, so perhaps that'll temporarily end up one of the many plates I'm spinning around and around while I wait for a new hyperfixation to one day hit me. Right now, I'm juggling GI Joe, Transformers, Lego Ninjago and Peanuts. Oh, I also have thought of Kingdom Hearts a bit. So why not add Fire Emblem to that? Nothing to lose by it, I suppose.
