That’s what I did in 2016. I lost 30 pounds in 8 months. And as awesome as that is, it doesn’t seem like its enough, that I could have/should have lost more. But lets be honest, I didn’t follow a diet plan, restrict anything from my plate. I just walked at lunch hour, worked out at night and paid attention to my eating habits. It took me 8 weeks to lose 5 pounds and then the others slowly came off, came back on, came off with more, repeat repeat repeat.
Between going to Jamaica end of November and over the Christmas holidays I gained 1.6pds.. that’s actually reasonable but unacceptable to keep. And yet, I’ve been home and back to work for a week now and I have eaten more crap in the last week than I did all last year. I did hop back to the gym the second day I was home from holidays but I ate potato chips every night this week.
That said, I am very hormonal and stressed and have eaten all the bad junk in my house so now I can get my mind back on track to not buy any of that crap and work towards losing 5 pounds by Feb 15th. I’ve got a Squat Challenge lined up to start on the 15th for 30 days, I am making the gym a habit again and pushing myself to 60 minutes of cardio.. and on the 15th I get into weight programs... I have no life, I have no excuses of “i don’t have the time’ so why not make use of it after work and work my body into a body I can love even more than I do right now.
Goals: Build a Butt - Starter course lol/ lose 5pds in 30 days / gym bunny status for 5 workouts per week.
PS: This is my #Face2Face a year apart for Christmas Parties... #nofilter
