I can't find Stitchtober day 25? Is it just me, or did something happen?
I don’t know what happened or if you found it in the time we were dark, but here is the link for it again in case you haven’t.
Various doodles of Lost Link that no one really asked for but oh well. Some are older than others
I've developed some stuff about him but I don't know if I'll post much about him or not.
If Rhett ever lost Link. He would need a new bff asap! Look at that face! Awww can I keep him?

The Lost Link
by Michelle Bryan
Power of Fae #1
Urban Fantasy | Paranormal
I die every night in my dreams. Add to that the hallucinations of people I've never met and creatures that don't exist, and you can see why I don’t let anyone in. People don't take well to weirdos that can't tell reality from illusion. That all changed the day a dragon attacked. Yup, that’s right. A real-life, smoke-breathing dragon hunted me down in the middle of a school day. I only escaped because a Faerie forced me to jump through a fire portal into a realm of magic. Normal, right? Just when I thought things couldn't get any weirder, I met him. The Fae prince. Eyes of jade, ebony hair, and a smile that made my knees weak. Too bad he was my mortal enemy sent to finish what the dragon started. Now, faced with parallel worlds, a daring escape plan, and an evil queen bent on taking over the universe, only one thing is for certain. I’m in way over my head.
Goodreads
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Lost Link was a quick and fun read, that I really enjoyed. It's centered on my favorite type of supernatural, the fae, has a snarky female character who has a sense of humor, a hot fae prince (like there is any kind) and elemental magic, all of which help make Lost Link a good read.
Bridjette is the main character and she is one of those characters who at first has a questionable mental state. When she finds out that all the stuff she's been seeing is real, she has one of the best reactions to the "magic is real" situation, at first Jette is in denial she responses like a normal people, calling people crazy even while she is in the middle of it, saying she on Candid Camera and everything. Jette has a snarky sense of humor and says whatever comes to her mind. There are times when she annoyed the crap out of me but overall I liked her, when she wants answers she looks for them, she funny in certain situations and she calls people on their crap.
The wicked hot fae prince, Starke, is my favorite character. Starke is funny, handsome, kind, patient, generous and pretty much everything you expect in a prince. He helps guide Jette in this new world and seems to consider her better than the people who brought her to that world. He's not only her teacher but her friend as well, while there is slight flirting there wasn't any romance but some clues lead me to believe that there could be more to this story and I can't wait to figure it out.
While I did enjoy the story but something felt a little off, I think it was partially Jette's personality but mostly it was the supporting characters, they felt a little off, her foster sister, and her mentor to name a couple. The relationships just felt off-kilter somehow, other than that I had no problems. The world was interesting and the storyline unique while keeping with some of the themes I'm used to.
Lost Link is a good start to the Power of Fae series, it was fun and a good base to add to. The story ended on a cliffhanger and I am excited to see some things in the next book, Lost Magic and to figure out what is this thing between Jette and Starke. If you want a fun fae read with snark and humor then this quick read might be what you're looking for.
