To be quite honest, Air's career sort of vacillated the line between their most famous sounds and their experimental tendencies as we can hear on Pocket Symphony. The latter does veer more towards the former, which might be a cause for concern, but here's the thing – they have their own idiom, so should they abandon that completely? This is not just an issue for Air, because there are many outfits that have their own sonic trademarks, yet when they want to go beyond them, they get lambasted for even trying. However, some manage to achieve the latter without any problems, but one asks oneself – what is then the difference between these musicians and Air? Was the early idiom by Godin and Dunckel too powerful for them to escape?
(2/3) treatment, but nothing has happened and I think they lied to me. And my ceiling is sinking and I’m afraid that it’s gonna fall in (it’s right above my bed) and there was this mold that is black growing and all they will do is paint over it even though the plaster is really obviously sinking. And it’s not like they don’t have enough to fix it, my dad is just really into saving money. Also, I have terrible back pain and am always sick and they(I thought this would be shorter, sorry)(2/3)
tell me I’m failing (in general) and my mom told me that I “fucked my life up” (her life) and I… think that’s it. I’m sorry this is so long. Is any of this abuse or neglect? (3/3)

Hi lovely,
Sadly we haven’t received part 1 of your message but I’ll try to answer based on those two parts. From what I get from these two parts it does sound like neglect and the first sentence of part 2/3 might point towards medical neglect (sadly I don’t know what exactly you wrote about).
I am sorry you’re in this situation, it does sound like they are not providing you with both medical and practical support you need and deserve. Your mother saying those things counts as emotional blackmailing.
Take care - Sae
