Resurrecting .m.h.m.TBT for a look into a children’s book I started writing and illustrating way back in in 2008 while I was taking a class in children’s lit: The Rabbitwife. It was a pretty good story all in all, if a little derivative of every selkie/crane/kitsune/other shapeshifter-wife tale ever told. But...I lost the thread of the project, never really picked it back up, moved on to other things.
I unearthed my Rabbitwife illustrations because I will be participating in Red Raven Gallery’s group show, “Creature Comforts.” Be sure to come by and check us out if you happen to be in the Port Townsend, WA area during the month of November! This one in particular belongs to my dearest friend @climbinglyell
