Howl’s Moving Castle is a must read for fans of the Ghibli movie by the same name and children book lovers. The movie adaptation isn’t a 1:1 compare to the book. So if you maybe have struggles with changes from movie to book it might not be the right thing for you. I did enjoy this book a lot. The characters are different from the movie and are more realistic because of their mood, world building and storyline.
I decided to read the next book in this series and looking forward to it! Hopefully I’ll like it the same way as this one.

The Ones Who Got Away contains romance and love, not the biggest plot and some cheesy stuff. To be fair I was completely sure what I was buying, and still not quite sure if I’ll like this one. Taking a terrible event as a main factor for all the characters to give them their own story might not be the best, but it’s a good explanation and reason why those people are all hurt and traumatize in some way. After an okay start I found its potential/reason to read non-stop until the end. It won’t be a five star book and still I truly enjoyed it. Sometimes we all need those easy books. And soon I’m gonna read the next book in this series.☺

I have big trouble to find a good crime or thriller book. This time I chose a historical crime book in the hope to find something good. But sadly this book just wasn’t for me. The characters were okay and the crime case as well but I missed the tension. I had so struggle with it, that I had to give myself a reading goal so I could finished this in time. Otherwise I might get another reading slump so, no thanks!
Quick Commentary: Lover Avenged (Part 2) & The Flatshare
Last year I read two more books, which I like to give a quick commentary on it.
My goal for this year? REALLY REALLY TRYING to read 12 books! It can’t be that hard can it?

I really enjoyed the second part of Rhev’s story the same like the first book. It also prepared the storyline of future books so I’m really looking forward to the next books of the series!
Sometimes you meet a book at the right time in the perfect mood. This cute little romcom just delivered everything my heart needed in that moment. Beside it’s unusually concept of sharing a flat together but never seeing each other is indeed an interesting topic. Instead of seeing the person and start knowing her, you can learn the person through her stuff and daily routine. But of course someday you want to have a face behind that shadow living with you right?
There are hidden a few great quotes. (My love for a book grows even more when it has plenty of good quotes in it to quote) I loved the build-up of the two main characters. They’re by far not perfect or don’t have any problems they have to deal with in life. Which gives them a more realistic touch and you can start to identify yourself with the life or struggles they have. Therefore the side characters don’t have that big depth or part in the story. They do exist no question and are here to help and give the main characters more colour to shine, but nothing more sadly.
Also there’s a talk/mention about an abuse thing, which I don’t want to name because of any spoiler alerts. I really liked the fact, that there’s mentioned something so serious in a romcom.
All in all I loved it and have to give it the max of five stars! I know maybe it’s to overrated but I can’t help myself. Her next book The Switch is already stacked somewhere at home, waiting to get a chance to be read. And I have to read it soon because at the end of April her third book is coming out!
