So, plot divergence: Shepard leaves with the Normandy crew when they come to Thedas because angst. Cullen mopes for a few years then agrees to an arranged marriage with Trevelyan’s younger sister as a favour to get her out of a WORSE arranged marriage something something plot contrivance. Baby!Trev’s cool but neither of them are into it. Shepard comes back during Trespasser because Solas’s shenanigans are making something go wonky in her universe. More angst ensues but everyone’s happy from the end, Cullen goes back to Shep’s universe from her, Baby!Trev also joins them for the adventure and immediately goes all heart-eyes for Liara.
