Maybe I'm old fashioned. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I'm old. Maybe I'm boring. But I truly don't get the desire to pick a criminal's profile to correspond with on a dating site. To perhaps develop as a few of the sites say a long lasting relationship that can continue on the outside of the prison walls (unless of course you aren't ever getting parole). From the research I've done quite often serial killers or those who have committed a crime- or crimes plural- are often inundated with "fan mail". And often the letters are super sexually explicit, contain naked photos, and proposals of marriage. Why? What makes someone do this? (It's intrigued me so much I'm going to do more research on it and write a blog post on it.)
When we're making up after a fight and he tells me how much he missed talking with me.
My husband, behind the prison fence, the other day, trying to make all the visitors laugh (and it worked, as usual) 😆
“I am very sadden to let you know my tumblr account fell victim of the tumblr purge. My blog was about informing about #prisonconditions and giving a voice to the voiceless. I also used it to collect sweet memories with my husband and as a diary of my struggles as a #prisonwife. I answered hundred of questions about #prisonpenpals and #prisonrelationships and I honestly loved provoking conversations. I really put a lot of time and work in my blog. I occasionally wrote my original #truecrime content but I never glorified violence or encouraged it. I know this is an automatic message but it hurts my heart that lobbying for #humantreatmentforall, #rehabilitation, #secondchances and #restorativejustice was put in that bag. Shame on #tumblr for how they have been treating their users this year. This is the end of an era for me. Thank you to the thousands of followers who supported me/my blog ❤️• I will still be posting on my YouTube channel. • If you want to #writeaprisoner, please check my site Wire of Hope. • I will focus on #criminaljusticereform with our local chapter of ACLU of Florida.“
From my dear friend and business partner @voicefromdeathrow. Check her YouTube channel here. I used to love Tumblr so much. So saddened to see what it turned into.
When court doesn’t go well and I have to cheer him up.
- “What do you do when you get punched in the face?!” - “I fight back.” - “Exactly.”
When he asks me: “What did you do to look this beautiful?!” 🤣 🤣 🤣
"I know I wasn’t supposed to call back but I really wanted to, because I wanted to tell you how amazing you are. It’s been almost 5 years and a half that we met, and you still give me butterflies. I am so in love with you. I had such a great time this weekend. On Sunday my heart was pounding for the full 4 hours we spent together. You’re the most amazing person I know. Thank you for being my wife. I never ever thought I could be this happy one day."
