Today, on a walk, I saw an old couple holding hands. They were wearing matching blue and pink t-shirts, maybe intentionally, maybe just a sweet coincidence. But honestly, that didn't matter. What did was the quiet love that seemed to radiate from them.

It wasn't loud or showy. Just two people, walking side by side, with a kind of ease that only comes from years of choosing each other, not just in the good moments, but in the hard, messy, in between ones too.

It made me pause. Made me smile too.

Because in a world where people drift away so easily, where love sometimes folds under pressure, here were two people who looked like they'd held on, tightly, quietly, and consistently.

And maybe that's what real love is.

Not the fireworks or grand declarations, but the decision to stay. To keep showing up for each other, even when it's not easy.

To say, "I'm still here," when life gives every reason to run.

I hope I find something like that someday.

Something that doesn't just start beautifully, but stays.
