I am My Own Best Therapist

For years, I lived seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Innocent to the notion that people would continually fail to live up to my expectations.

Now, I've found myself plagued with this overwhelming unhappiness. It's even a bitter numbness. I don't get excited about anything because I'm afraid of being disappointed, again.

I wonder if this all stems from the fact that I feel like a disappointment myself? That i feel like I disappointed my family and that I'm just an overall failure. 

And this has utterly disabled me from functioning like a "normal" human being. 

I feel alone. I feel overwhelmed. I don't want to be around people most of the time. I just freak out. And I can't relax, because I'm always striving to be better. 

But nothing is ever good enough. 

Just meandering through the depths of my brain.

My Thoughts On... Everyone in the World Having a Talk Show

First it was Kris Jenner... then it was Queen Latifah, Bethenny Frankel, and Alec Baldwin? 

First of all, it all became a cluster fuck once they started to create all those shows that were like "The View", all of which I could care less about knowing their names. 

Second of all, who watches talk shows? Who are they catering toward? I don't know one person who actually physically watches TV on a TV. Let alone someone who watches TV on a TV during the day! How are these networks creating income from daytime television talk shows with fleeting celebrities or people who are famous for being sensationalized in some regard?

Well, I actually do see CNN wanting Alec Baldwin for a program. That was actually a good move. He is known as a quite opinionated and political centric one who could create quite the buzz for this network. I mean, he does want to run for Mayor of New York City, (credits to my Mommy), so maybe this will help both him and CNN? Not that CNN was really lacking... but everything is sensationalism now!

But what about the Kris Jenner Show and the Bethenny Frank one?? What happened to quality shows like Oprah and the earlier days of "The View"?

Is everything just for entertainment value now? Why is there such a lack of depth in everything we watch? I just don't get it.

But mostly, who is watching this crap?
