I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you mean Spock (but I will also submit that Leonard McCoy fits this description as well!)

And yes, Spock is likely Jim’s ‘endgame’ in one way or another (like, even if they don’t end up together, they end up together), but he’s kind of a serial monogamist -- like, when Jim Kirk fall in love he loves the way he does everything else: with his whole heart, body, mind, and soul, and as if the sky is falling, because it probably is. And I would like one of those whirlwind, often tragic, but still somehow hopeful, and absolutely meaningful, romances to be with a man even if he is just any man. Y’know?
