J'ai dessiné ce petit garçon qui apprend à coudre avec sa famille car j'ai toujours adoré remanier des vêtements récupérés à Emmaüs, assembler des vieux tissus ensemble, raccourcir les vieilles jupes de mes grandes sœurs, inventer des patrons, broder des fleurs et coudre des chouchous colorés. Et je suis reconnaissante que ma maman m'aie appris à utiliser la machine à coudre familiale toute jeune!
Si au lieu de consommer-jeter, le réflexe était de réparer, réutiliser, partager, notre monde serait tellement plus beau, écologique et solidaire.
Fière d'avoir pu participer au projet d' Alternatiba en tentant de dessiner un monde où "consommer" n'a plus la même signification. Au côtés du joli texte issu d’un entretien avec Germain Sarhy, fondateur du Village Emmaüs Lescar-Pau et son responsable depuis presque trente ans!

Finished a wrap top - pattern by @soseweasyofficial . I am really happy with the top and the fit - however, a fabric in a different color/pattern might have made the beautiful wrap effect a bit more visible.
