watching stranger things with my dad rn, and we're only about halfway through season two (he is not impressed with the horror part of it so far lol and i don't have the heart to tell him it doesn't get much scarier from here) but basically he thinks billy fancies steve and has internalised homophobia and like, okay, at first i was shitting bricks because NO WAYY man, but actually. i kinda see it.

like i don't ship them but i see how it might come across.

Recently started stranger things AND just rewarched lotr and...i made an interesting connection

-main character/main character energy

-gets tortured by big bad arguably more than anyone else

-has some sort of spidey sense for when said big bad is near

...shipped with someone who's canonically with someone else but they lowkey have more chemistry than the canon couple... has a VERY CLOSE ehem FRIEND <3
