9. Favorite trope: Self Sacrifice or Agreeing to die for your lover. Probably considered to some degree a toxic trope but I absolutely adore it.

13. Favorite line. (This from Original Fiction. I couldn't think of a particular line I've written I like for Grandthorki...because mostly it would be out of context GM lines so here's a snippet from my Original fiction)

"I-I wanted to be famous. I had convinced people I could bring back their love ones using shadows and mirrors and even actors. When Emmanuel said he could do it to Franco, I-I agreed to let him..to let my beloved be..." More red tears slid down her cheeks and for one moment as she gasped, the crew thought she was giving her death rattle. But once again she evened her breathing somewhat and continued. "Let me be with him, Senor. Let me face my Franco once more and explain to him face to face what I have done, and to those women. Please, be merciful."

"Mercy!?" Othello said in disgust, but Lycus quieted him with a look.

"I don't think I can," the doctor explained, a clinical and professional tone masking his feelings. "There is a chance you could still live. He may have not studied long in the University, but he knew enough to have you live this long. With proper doctor's care and surger-"

"NO MORE SURGERY! NO MORE DOCTORS! PLEASE! JUST KILL ME! HAVE DONE WITH ME! HAVE MERCY!" It became a stream of pleas and begging the likes of which that Cyrus could never remember ever hearing. She kept going until her voice cracked. She tried at one point lift herself off the bed to run toward Lycus but could only meekly lift her body.

GIVE ME SOME THUNDERMASTER HEADCANONS AND GIVE ME LOKI BEING PROTECTIVE POST THUNDERMASTER HEADCANONS, IM SORRY FOR CAPS IM EXCITED

The Grandmaster loves to emasculate Thor. Loki's gender is fluid so no matter what you are not going to humiliate him that way. But Thor's identity is strength: physical and emotional. Taking the God of Thunder and just turning him into someone who shrinks away from Thunder would just make the GM so happy.

It would also be a power move against Odin and or Loki. In an au where Odin is alive, he would get so uncomfortable and just heartbroken to see his son be basically reduced to a child but a child who recognizes a different 'Daddy'. To Loki, his older brother has always been his North Star and a pillar of strength. To have that ripped from him means he'd have to find a solution alone. Even in the Avengers (first one) I heartily believe Loki wanted Thor to either stop him or join him.

Also, even if I struggle with thinking up ones, I believe that GM just loves playing dress up.

grandthorki zombie or post apocalyptic au

For zombie au, I imagine the Grandmaster running a community that's pretty much contained the virus. Half the state of North Dakota sized too. The few governments that remain sing his praises. His community is clean and well-provisioned. Sure there are reports of how strict he is, and that he has been instituted penal slavery, but that's a small price to pay.

In his spacious home, an abandoned prison, he has his pets.

Thor, who had been an all star football player but nearly became a 'freak' when his left arm was bitten. He's had it amputated off. He's 'paying' for his old teammates in his small town and their families to be sent over the border to Canada, which is zombie free.

Loki was a foster kid bouncing around the system before the outbreak. He was Thor's foster brother. He can leave at any time, or so he tells Thor. Unfortunately, he knows that the Grandmaster knows the location of their family, so he's secretly paying to get them all four out.

Even if he has to stay here in this prison with a madman who is actually the one responsible for the Outbreak, forever.
