LP Au with defence attorney Jennette.

Desperately need a LP AU where Jennette acts as a defence attorney to prove Athanasia’s innocence after she’s framed for poisoning Jennette. After waking up from her coma before Claude hands down the final verdict to execute Athanasia, Jennette storms into the throne room, objecting to the execution.

“It is unfair to punish my sister when you have no proof that she’s the one who poisoned me! We should at least have a more thorough investigation on this matter!” she cried out, still feeling weak due to the poison. But there’s no way she’s going to back down so easily.

Eventually, Claude begrudgingly accepts Jennette’s objection and orders the guards to investigate the poisoning incident again.

But even if there’s no solid proof that Athanasia’s the culprit, that doesn’t mean she’s off the hook so easily.

With no one willing enough to side with her sister, it’s Jennette’s duty to defend Athanasia in the court of law. With Ijekiel being her assisting aide. 

Speaking of Ijekiel, with Jennette being Athy’s attorney, he will be meeting up with the blonde princess more often in her prison cell. Of course, things are awkward between them but after some time, they’re comfortable around each other.

Jennette is an observant person. So she notices that there’s something going on between her sister and her fiance. So she broke things off with Ijekiel and allows him to be with Athanasia instead. She confesses that she has never felt any sort of attraction to him and she had a hunch that the feeling is mutual.

I keep seeing stories where Athy is defending herself and in my opinion, they’re all predictable. Instead of having Rosaria as the main culprit, they instead use a different motive for the poisoning and blame it on a random character. And you know what? I don’t like that. I just want Jennette to be in disbelief that her aunt is the one who poisoned her. And then all the pieces are being pieced together and she, with a heavy heart from anger and betrayal, points her finger to Countess Rosaria, her aunt, the person who put the poison in her tea.

... Also I hate LP AUs where they just make Jennette stupid.
