This is a good time to ask a question for a post I've been meaning to make. Can anyone send me (you can do it anonymously) examples of "nepotism" on WCTH? Stuff like Viv's real life kids playing his kids on the show. To make it perfectly clear, I AM IN NO WAY ACCUSING ANYONE OF NEPOTISM AND IMPLYING THAT THEY DON'T DESERVE THEIR JOB. I just want examples of things on the show that could be considered nepotism. I want to compile a list of examples and I want people to use that list anytime they see whiny, bitchy Hearties crying about Erin and Nathan benefitting from nepotism. Demand that they give their opinion on the other examples and push them when they ignore it. Anyway, back to the Liz-fit

It's YOUR fault that you can instantly recognize when Liz has made a new account, and not her fault because she complains about the same dumb things each time in the exact same way.

If you JERKS would just stop blocking/muting Liz whenever she harasses you and just became her friends, everything would be great and she wouldn't be forced to make so many new accounts where she keeps following you JERKS.

I've mentioned this before, but the people who OBSESS over how actors kiss are messed up. It's reached a point where I can't think of any other word to describe it but perverted. You are shallow and perverted if that's the only thing you care about.

Chris still hasn't posted a photo of him with his girlfriend or child on Instagram (good for him, BTW). Most of his posts just look like selfies. But please tell me how Erin is the more private one and everything is her fault.

I truly hope that the big, top secret "personal reason" for the break up wasn't something devastating like the Michael O'Hare/Babylon 5 situation I always reference, but if it does eventually come out and it was because of Chris, I'm going to laugh so hard.

WCTH and Ratings

I have heard quite a lot of people saying WCTH has just broken up Elizabeth and Lucas for Ratings, If that is so, then I dare to say That that is a good thing.... how so you may ask.

Well let me make it simple

more viewers=more ratings

less viewers=less ratings

So why would they risk losing the majority of the Lucabeth Fanbase?

surely losing Lucabeth fans would equal fewer ratings in which case they did not break them up for ratings and must be doing it for pure love of the storylines If so they must have some cool storylines planned which = great for viewing

Unless in Losing Lucabeth Fans they calculated that the Team Nathan fans were a bigger fanbase and thus breaking up Lucabeth would = more ratings.... which means more people enjoyed those storylines anyway...great for viewing

so if the breakup was to do with Ratings or storylines then to sum up either way their decision was the best thing they could do for the show... but there is a 3rd possibility.

What if due to personal reasons Chris Macnally wanted to downsize his role on wcth while continuing on the show, perhaps to spend more time with his daughter. In this case, the writers were forced to make the best of an awkward situation and so they decided the best thing to do was to breakup Lucabeth and hint at Team Nathan which had the bonus of bringing back Team Nathan viewing, In which case Good for them they have good ethics, good ethics=great for viewing

so any which way you come at it the writers were not being selfish or out to hurt Team Nathan in season 8 or Team Lucas in season 9 we have to remember they have a business to run and money to make They can't afford to Lose Viewers=ratings=renewal=money. So if they can't afford to do that then we can be sure they thought carefully about their choice and are trying to do there best for the show. sure there are humans involved so mistakes here and there are inevitable, but when those mistakes happen don't be angry at the people, you can be angry at the "mistake" if you view it as such, but the people were just doing their job trying to make a living so don't go making there lives miserable for it. state your opinion that it was a mistake, yes, but in a respectful and kind manner so that they take it as constructive criticism for next time and can appreciate and learn from it. to quote Abigail Stanton from season 1 of WCTH "You catch more flies with Honey than with Vinegar".

I have never written in this fandom and I haven’t been able to focus on my actual WIPs but why do I have thoughts of a TLFY inspired AU but probably gender flipped so Elizabeth is the “Jamie” one of the mental walls in hitting is should I have Lucas as the “Cathy” still be a struggling actor or something else?
