It was...almost scary how their story mirrored that of Sora and Kairi. Mirrored, the reverse, yet the same events out of order. Even a mirror of a mirror, as many of these moments took place through an entirely different person who was somehow still the same. However confusing their story was, it was told.

I'll come back. I promise.

So close to Sora's words, and right after they reunited as well. For the very same reason Riku was leaving; to find his dearest friend, their dearest friend, and bring him home.

Namine wasn't even sure how long it had been she lived in the twilight town mansion since his departure. All she knew was that the days seemed endless without company. She had gotten just the smallest taste of what a normal life was like. They played, smiled, talked, explored, all for one glorious evening. And he had given her that. He had given her the worlds, or at least what she thought the worlds was.

So just like Kairi, she would wait.

And just like Kairi, she would wait....alone, and clutching to what he left her. At the very least...she could hold the letter.

“Riku, did you hear? There’s a carnival in town!” Levina said with a smile. She didn’t know much of the town Destiny Islands inhabited. “Want to go check it out?”

The inquiry had been aimed for Umbra and his seemingly unexplained restlessness. The masked being had almost missed the sight of the visitor; he nearly camouflaged with the snow at a distance. Their focus is on what is ahead of them; the defeated polar bear Heartless disappearing. The giant canine must have rushed to push the other being out its path just as they dealt the final blow.

The dark wolf returns to their side and amber eyes stare at the visitor before melting into a goofy, lopsided smile. The Ghostly Guardian manages to get a glance at the other’s keyblade before it was dismissed and dismisses the Heartsickness moments after. “Aye. And what of it?”

Levina always struggled with the darkness. She was always taught to fight and fear it. She always followed the path of light, despite being made from the dark. No she wasn’t a heartless, just a girl trying to find her path. It had been far too long, she lost her family, her home, her world - The darkness claimed it all. 

Abandoning everything and everyone she cared about. She let the darkness finally take her. 

She wasn’t even sure how long it was. Five years, ten years, fifteen years. She wanted to forget the trouble and pain she had caused everyone. 

She turned around in the midst of all the dark. Her fingers clenched to her wayfinder. Then she heard some one, a voice in the darkness “W...Whose there?” She asked wearily. Her hand motioned to summon her keyblade, but there was little to no light left in her heart.

Yume had arrived to check on how Riku had been doing, but after seeing his jacket left alone on a chair, Yume couldn’t resist slipping it on. She stole Sora’s clothes all the time, why not his? Suddenly hearing the Keyblade Master’s noise of surprise and comment caught her off guard. 

“Does it though?” The material was soft, warm, and huge in comparison to her body. Each sleeve rested at her elbows, while the hem ended at mid-thigh. She had to push the hood back slightly in order to actually see Riku. “Big is an understatement Mr. Growth-Spurt. I could use this as sleepwear if I zipped it up!”

“What kind of Dream Eater is that?” Levina looked at the purple rat beside Riku. “Did you replace Komory Bat?”

⊰⚔⊱—— This time was different, as unusual as it was the rusty hues were focused off in space. Not a sound leaving him and he almost seemed to be stuck in place, lost in thought, something surprising for Gilgamesh. Deep thinking is a rare occurrence for him, now being such a time and he hardly noticed it might be time for him to snap out of it. He needed to get back to the shop soon and this wouldn't help him much after the whole... destroying the place incident, he never had been chewed out so much in his life until then. Well, there was when Echidna caught him, but he never spoke of that. Still, clear nights often got him thinking when he went out and it seemed like his mind may not be coming back to reality easily. Old memories always did this to him and now was no exception to it.
