MY METHOD FOR SLEEP PARALYSIS
hello again! i'm gonna be sharing my method for sleep paralysis that has yet to fail me (besides the fact that i keep forgetting that last few steps of my method when i'm in a lucid dream). my only tips before i get into it is to first, don't rush, the void isn't going anywhere!! and secondly, don't focus on the sensations you feel and instead think about your destination. i've seen many interesting things while paralyzed, including a ginormous mascara (with no lid btw) and have had 3 spirits speak to me at the same time trying to guide me. not saying this will happen to you, but be wary! so let's get into something i call the Tri-state Method, based on the fact that you use three different states. Sleep Paralysis comes first, then a lucid dream, and then the void, where you will manifest your dream life or simply shift! This also requires you to semi-fuck up your sleep schedule, or you can do it during the day when you wanna take a nap. let's get into it!!
PRELUDE for this method, it doesn't really matter when you wake up honestly, you just have to be TIRED if you aren't dozing off half the time, then this is going to be extra lengthy for no reason. i've tried doing this method while i wasn't tired and it took way longer than it had to. but i'll include this first step for the people who want a more methodical approach, or just want a set time to wake up, you're welcome type a people!
STEP 1: depending on when you went to bed, wake up during your rem (aka just after a dream) and you can figure this out by looking at a chart for when you experience nrem and rem. but to put it simply, 4-6 hours after you've fallen asleep. you can use an alarm, or you can use your circadian rhythm (which is what i personally prefer because alarms scare the shit out of me)
STEP 2: now if you're the type of person who when you wake up all of your tiredness fades away, do not fret! either read a book or doomscroll until you get tired again. now i know that people say that you shouldn't use devices, but i find that it actually helps me! it keeps me alert but at the same time i keep that drowsiness that i need. so don't worry about staying away from your phone!
STEP 3: once you're no longer indulging in literature or gooning on tiktok, you just lay flat on your back with your head facing the cieling (it's proven to help you fall asleep faster, and proven to heighten chances of sleep paralysis) this part is optional, but it can also help you with staying alert so that your brain doesn't go zzzzzz when you only need your body to do that. you can put on calming music at a LOW volume, or none at all if you prefer. if at around this time you struggle keeping that bit of awareness as your body falls asleep, you can do some other tricks that i do with/without the music!
step 3a: you can use a mantra that keeps your mind occupied. my personal fav is "mind awake body asleep" because you're sorta hypnotizing yourself into that state of being only with your mind? (whatever that means)
step 3b: this is an eye trick that helps you to fall asleep faster, where you open your eyes SLIGHTLY and then close them again. it keeps your mind also occupied with keeping you alert while everything else falls asleep.
STEP 4: this will trigger sleep paralysis (you'll know you're there when you can't move at all even if you try, and if you feel strange sensations) and from here, STAY CALM and affirm for a lucid dream (this part always happens almost instantly, but from here it gets a little hard to tell if you're in sleep paralysis or in a lucid dream)
STEP 5: now that you're in the lucid dream, affirm for the void and close your eyes (what i would do personally) or sink into the ground, make a doorway a portal anything you'd like! and from there, you can do whatever you want, manifest whatever you want.
but yeah! i did this method for weeks and the only times i would struggle were when i had an amazing attempt, and the next time i tried to replicate it to a T. you do NOT have to do that! i've gotten super close while doing minor variations of this method. it doesn't matter if you do it in the exact same way, as long as you follow the fundamental parts of this method (being super tired, doing wbtb, keeping your mind occupied while your body falls asleep) then you should be fine! like i said you can also do this if you wanna take a nap as long as it isn't like "oh i just feel like taking a nap" it needs to be "I'M SO TIRED FUCK I NEED TO GO TO SLEEEEEPPPPP"
