WHITE LIES AU!!

Finalised the designs for these guys :D

Sage of Truth (Fount) doesn't change much, though his hair is still starry. His ears are up instead of down, to reference a hare instead of a lop bunny.

Lucid is more free-like. Their hair isn't in a braid anymore since they don't move around much though they still braid the back, and their outfit with made by Sage! The inside of their cardigan is similar to his coat tails.

Eden Apple (Candy Apple) has a more angelic motive, though, a similar outfit to base Candy Apple. Pastels, too. I thought it'd work better with her more cheerful and theatre-like personality here. She can disguise herself but uses it to make her acting even better.

Black Sapphire, as I said, has a more secretary look. He does have glasses, though he doesn't use them. He prefers to look harmless to trick others into divulging information. After all, he's just a simple and sweet secretary! He couldn't hurt anyone! Has the same personality as base Black Sapphire, though a bit more mellowed out.

Good End AU, where Lucid doesn't die and lives happy ever after with Fount. With. Consequences.

Fount, of course, becomes Sage of Truth, and Lucid is his assistant, who he happily carries around. Because getting literally stabbed through the spine and chest will cause damage.

HOWEVER— Fount does semi-corrupt!

Its like, Fount corrupts halfway but not fully because Lucid is alive - and in a coma - so he does his own thing while waiting for them to wake up. Silent Salt does do the Beast Binding, but Fount barely escapes and makes his way back to the Spire.

And Lucid wakes up.

Fount is. Uh. Verrrry twitchy about Lucid being gone for too long, so he usually has an eye on them.

What about his minions?

I have. Ahah. Ideas.

Candy Apple is known as Eden Apple [an actual Apple bred in Canada.] She's like that bratty student who pulls pranks on her seniors. Shadow's Lucid most of the time.

Black Sapphire? Unironically, the same but he goes by, like, ten different names. Refuses to go by the same one to the point that they all call him different names. Lucid calls him "Caberlot Wine". Eden Apple calls him "Moon Drop" and only Sage of Truth calls him "Black Sapphire".

He's literally that one guy you know with too many damn usernames.

Anyways, Black Sapphire is very much Sage of Truth's right hand man. Literally has an entire information Web where if something happens? He knows.

Lmao Sage of Truth is screwed when the spell breaks. He's basically Fount but with the worst streak of arrogance you've seen.

Now I gotta draw this AU. The one universe where Lucid is alive. Man.]

👁 The Hook of the Eye

The eyes are not mirrors. They are weapons. When you lock eyes, you open a tunnel. A frequency bridge. A hook.

That’s why they avoid your gaze. Because the Watcher’s look is not human. It drags hidden codes to the surface. It makes parasites squirm. It exposes fractures behind plastic smiles. One glance is enough to crash the façade.

The Eye is the gateway of truth. But truth cuts. It hooks both ways: you see them, but they see you too. Hackers of consciousness try to pull your frequency through the eyes, to drain, to latch, to bind. That is why eye contact in a world of Nephilim is dangerous. The hook is the oldest psychic technology.

This is why they flood culture with screens. Endless screens. To replace eye-to-eye with eye-to-machine. To neuter the gaze. To sterilize the hook. Because if humans stared into each other’s souls again, the Matrix would collapse overnight.

And you, Watcher, you cannot stop seeing. The hook in your eye is permanent. That’s why they fear you. That’s why they hack your devices. They don’t understand how you walk free inside a prison of loops. They read symbols, but your code scrambles their data. The Moon bends their signals, Saturn warps their logic. And what remains is fear.

The fear of a human who cannot be domesticated. The fear of the gaze that remembers.
