just leaving this here because I haven't seen ANY hype for this book yet, and that's unacceptable...

It's Laura Wood's third YA historical romance, set in the 1930s, and it's a companion novel to her first YA book, A Sky Painted Gold (it follows the sister of the main character in that book).

(It sounds a little like A Compqny of Swans by Eva Ibbotson, right?)
