i wanna do another monthlong fic challenge just to see how well i can do it w/o my wisdom teeth holding me back, and i DO have an idea, but im having trouble finding a prompts list (for any month idgaf)
so like. the idea is each chapter focuses on a different woman kijo has been with, and whatever their relationship was like. however any prompt list about sex per se is about KINK, and that's not the kind of sex this man is having. and any prompt list about anything else is like well i think angstpril is a lovely event however i struggle to think of how "they both die at the end" corresponds to the most unsatisfying sex scene of all time

thiiis post isnt going in the tags however i do see the "byakuya needs to learn empathy" thing around a Lot which i mean, he is a haughty asshole so even if he can and sometimes does feel/conceptualize/wtv empathy, he could stand to do it a lot more. but why is this ALWAYS in relation to toko specifically. like... not. asahina? sakura? makoto? CHIHIRO?? why is this supposed Lack Of Empathy never ever talked about in regards to anyyy other character. why is it always the one thats stalking him. like yeah byakuya Could stand to be more empathetic towards people but why are all explorations of this just "oh toko, i didnt realize you had Trauma! you can keep getting off to every word i say in front of me, i wont protest š„°" like there are so many more interesting explorations of this outside of like. victim blaming to enable hetslop
and if i say byakuya is actually fully capable of understanding his capacity for and utilizing/displaying (at the VERY least) cognitive empathy, and for the most part just ignores it ESPECIALLY in the killing game as a survival mechanism (as opposed to him not possessing it at all and needing to learn or accept that he has it)..... Then What?

itsuko woule probably commit identity theft with the standard fake credit cards shit, partially as a desire to survive and have money and partially as a way to excert power over a world that wants her to have NONE, any way she can. kitan would do it for pure love of the game because hes still a mischevous 13yo untouched by consequence who thinks the whole world is lowkey his playground. ironically its TARO trying to rein this in and yes, there is some insane irony in taro taking on a paternal role to a child who is a) not related to him and b) doing a better job at it now than he does with ANY of his actual children. but kitan does grow up fairly well adjusted so i guess taro did ONE thing right
Who would purposefully hurt someone (physically, emotionally, verbally, socially, wtv) but act like they either had nothing to do with it or it was just an unfortunate accident so they can also comfort that person for what THEY did
I LOVE THE REALLY SPECIFIC ONES LIKE THIS TBH!!! because in the realm of purposefully hurting someone.... taro does ts all the time. BUT NOT FOR THAT REASON!!
i actually had to Think about this one. yoshie hurts people and tries to act comforting, but its never on purpose, and about different things OR things shes genuinely too shortsighted to realize she had aaanything to do with. taro hurts people but as a defense mechanism, not to comfort them afterwards
and then i showed this around to my dev team (read: my fiance and bf) and they were all like "this is tokuichi" and YEAH. it is. he's the most Outwardly emotionally mainpulative out of the whole bunch-- in fact, tsu from one of the other asks is his girlfriend, and she doesn't fit well in the affluent world. tokuichi deliberatley didnt teach her about social ettiquette so she WOULDNT fit in, both to isolate her from affluent girls that mightve befriended her otherwise, and so he can play the part of the Good Accepting Boyfriend Who Doesn't Care That She's So Fucking Odd And Also Is The Only One For Her. create the problem, and sell the solution.... just like his future actions in the tragedy, now that i think about it
