"Don't mind the stain on my hoodie; it's just blood."
"Just for tonight"
He glanced up from the book he had been reading, confused. It seemed strange to him that she would be asking him of all people to share a bed, especially considering how little they've spoken.
After his moment of confusion, Armin set the book aside and moved over to make room for the girl.
"Okay..."

109. “I can smell your fear…”
The sound of the voice only resonated in the blond's ears as he tried to keep himself hidden. She was after him, and he couldn't do anything but run. He had lost his gear and wouldn't be able to fight her even if he wanted to. There wasn't any way out of this situation, other than silence, and patience. The soft sound of boots brushing against the soil only drew closer to the blond male, as he silenced his breathing to the best of his ability.

Send a ◉ for my muses reaction to yours sneaking into their bedroom and putting a knife to their throat.Eren woke up at the feeling of cold metal on his throat and sucked in a gasp of air. Cautiously, he asked, "Annie? Why are you doing this?"
"He's dead, let's move on."
First Interactions
The taller blond clenched his teeth, lips set into a grim line and hands closed into fists at his side. He already knew that he couldn’t save everyone, knew that a few sacrifices had to be made in order to be able to save the majority but he hadn’t wanted anyone to die at his orders. Just how could anyone carry this weight of their squad members’ lives on their shoulders so easily like this?
While it had been a heroic act for the most part, at the same time it was also an unnecessary death. Meaningless, no, but something that could have been prevented if only he had came up with a better and more effective plan for them to execute without any casualties. He didn’t even know why the rest of them were still willing to follow his lead after one loss to their group.
Armin had already seen his share of deaths, seen too many to count now that they were officially soldiers serving Humanity now. Yet death was still something that he hadn’t been able to get used to regardless of the number of personal experiences he had and honestly, he feared for the day to come when he finally could treat it as simply a matter of the norm.
Taking one last look at their fallen comrade who had met his cruel fate—abused and discarded so carelessly like rotten food unwanted—he shut his eyes, letting out a heavy breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. The young strategist was envious that Annie seemed perfectly fine in maintaining her composure and he really did need to follow her example.
If he really wanted to lead them out of this alive, that is.
"Yeah, I know. Give me a minute."
"Is that supposed to scare me?"
During training he was often enamored by Annie Leohardt. She was extremely quiet and reserved. She kept too herself and did not speak out very often. There were moments where she allowed a smile and a chuckle, perhaps added to the conversation or assisted another trainee. She was a kind person, certainly, but an aura surrounded her of mystery and unknowing. It continuously appeared as if she was harboring a sort of secret. It was only till months passed that her secret was revealed.
He stood before the blond haired woman, optics narrow as he studied her movements. Her words sounded as if she was uncaring towards the situation. It caused the soldier such frustration, he wanted to scream his anger. Nevertheless, he remained calm, allowing two breaths before speaking. “I would be.” He smirked as he continued. “There is no way to escape the inevitable. If capturing you means harming you than so be it. However, we certainly cannot allow you to die.” His eyes lidded themselves as he spoke softly to the woman.
He knew more than anything it would be manageable if he was able to push the woman into a tight corner. Two steps forward, eyes reflecting his anger and his voice following suit. “If I understood correctly, Squad Leader Hanji wished to experiment a titan’s regeneration.” Lies. All lies. “I know she would be more than happy to use you. A shifter’s capabilities are much more complex than that of a normal titan.” Stop lying! Another step forward. “All this awaits you if you resist.” He was a horrible person speaking to another of the same.

"Who is that?" The blond mumbled. He turned to see who joined him in the bed. Armin was exhausted and it was dark, but the person looked like.. "Annie? What are you doing here?"
