My favorite comedians currently are:
John Mulaney
A gay Italian with a very gay voice
A straight jew Italian who was a theater kid. Can easily make people think he's queer. Has a bunch of problems with his parents
A straight jew who was also a theater kid. Good at impressions of John Mulaney. Had problems with father
A lesbian jew. Is depressed. Seems to be on meds whenever she does stand up.
A white lady named Taylor who is also a swift. Probably on meds. Bipolar
They're all either gay, flamboyant and/or with something going on in their minds
And that's honestly the best type of humor for me
this is so much better than revenge
Lukas Arnold
Now this is a platform I can support! (Both campaign and train)
One day in 1773 Théo was visited by Rosalie.
It was rare for her to walk all the way to the Park house all by herself due to her problems with her legs, but this time she made it just fine on account of a cane.
"Oh, Théo!" She said. "I have something wonderful to tell you. It has to do with the cane, but let me tell you - I'm engaged to be married!"
"What!" Théo said. "Tell me everything. Who is it? How did you meet?"
And so Rosalie did just that.
I had been sitting out by the swing sometime last year when I was suddenly approached by Lukas Arnold.
He's the son of the carpenter, remember? He helped father with some repairs to the porch a few years back.
"Excuse me, miss Olafsson," he said, "I was wondering if you would like to go on a walk with me?"
"Oh," I said, "I'm so sorry but I'm afraid I can't. I have some problems with my legs, so if I go on a longer walk I'm likely to loose my balance."
"I see," he said, "Well, in that case I'm so sorry if I bothered you. Maybe some other time."
And he left. I honestly didn't think much more of it.
And then a few weeks later he suddenly stopped by one evening, looking very shy and unsure of himself.
"I hope this is not too forward, miss," he said, "But I took the liberty to make something for you."
He had made me a cane! All on his own.
It's wonderful, and I love it so much. I've been too shy to use it much outside until now, but I'm finding more and more confidence in it.
"Mister Arnold," I said, "This... This is so thoughtful. Thank you so much."
"I think it's safe to say I would be delighted to go on a walk with you now," I said.
And so we did!
And we kept going on walks as time wore on.
He was so punctual about it too, he would always come over in the evening after his workday to walk around with me.
It was all very proper, of course, we haven't even kissed yet. And to be honest I was half expecting him to eventually grow tired of me, or lose interest.
But then the other day he came over to ask for my hand in marriage!
Can you believe it? He wants to marry me!
Of course, mum and dad weren't very keen on it at first.
Dad worried if he would be able to provide for me, and mum worried if he could care for me and my health.
But Lukas convinced them in the end, and when they heard I was happy with him they gave him their blessing.
"We plan on having the wedding in the fall, so there's still some time until then," Rosalie said, "But I am just so excited and so, so happy."
