i have been obsessed with making oc moodboards, and i wanna share with you… so the first one is just overall my oc, kyou. she’s the heir to the adler clan, and gets with (you guess it) laito :3 that’s the vibe of the second moodboard. also, yui and ayato get together in this universe and HE becomes the King of the Demon Realm, cuz both laito and kyou really never wanted to be rulers so they just love happily ever after
OH ALSO i spent some time scouring what i could about lu and made you a moodboard too, it was fun
i have temporarily interrupted my law essay grind to feast on such scrumptious imagery. tbh, there is nothing more therapeutic than hyper-fixating on oc moodboards when my brain is fried :'3
firstly, kyou being the heir to the adler clan? lore potential = chef's kiss. yk i'm already obsessed with the 'reluctant rulers' trope— laito/kyou both just collectively deciding to 'nope' out of kinging/queening to go live their best, happily-ever-after lives is so soft (tots df vibes). it fits fedora man so well; we all know he’d much rather be devoted to his person than stuck with the headache of demon politics (me too, boo). already sensing some delicious angsty short-fic potential there—which, once my essaying is done, i would delight in indulging OwO the weight of the crown they both refuse to wear, the moments they steal together instead... squeeeee
and ngl, ayato's is a total simba (lion king). bro's born to rule, with yui nurturing the good in him enough for him to finally lead while the rest of the diatwinks take a permeant, deserved vacay :D
also, legit screeching over the subaru/lu moodboard!! i am always so humbled when someone actually remembers my oc and her route :') the soft greys/icy blues you picked are just... perfect. 'his hands do violence, but there is another dream in his heart' = officially being kept in the good ol'memory bank t//w//t
funny enough, even though subaru/lu is my canonical ship, seeing your kyou/laito boards makes me kind of see lu with laito too? i'm so eager to hear your thoughts on that (for that matter, do you think i should attempt an oc x laito route justice sometime in the long-distant future? i've been debating it a fair bit given some of those juicy sacrificial parallels lu and laito share ~3~)
