I’m just imagining Carey sneaking up behind Taako to pickpocket him, only to reach into his pocket and freeze because what the absolute fuck did she just put her hand into. She takes her hand out and stares at it in mute horror, while Taako turns around and says “I see you’ve found my pocket pudding. Enjoy~” and then he gets super close up into her face and says “take that as a warning for if you ever want to pickpocket me again, fangbattle” and then just flounces away, leaving Carey with a literal handful of pudding. She’s so in shock she actually tries some and it surprisingly tastes pretty good

Accidental foreshadowing in TAZ Balance:

Episode 17, roughly 15 minutes in- Taako has cheated at the midsummer solstice carnival and gotten them all banned from the carnival games by using mage hand to knock over a bottle. Travis/Magnus says, "no, I won't allow this. I want to roll back time. Can I do that?" Of course it is revealed later in the campaign that Magnus invented and was also tempted by the Temporal Chalice, which has control over the flow of time.
