Light at the End of the Tunnel- Tap Dance Cover

Finally got the courage to record myself lol. Please be kind, I don't post my face/performance stuff much so any support is greatly appreciated :).

Here's the rough draft lol

Idk if anyone is looking for an animatic idea, but here's my pitch....

Setting the scene.... (listen to the song first and follow along for context)

Greaseball (Smokin' Joe Rudeboy) is an old, jaded cowboy on the search for the man in a velvet cloak (Electra) who killed his wife and newborn daughter.

Flashback in the middle of the song to Greaseball with his wife (Dinah) and baby daughter (Wembley Greaseball) where he left to get help after being attacked, but didn't make it back in time.

Back to the present, he encounters the man in the velvet cloak, who is revealed to be.... HIS THOUGHT-TO-BE-DEAD DAUGHTER, now grown into a grown woman seeking revenge. To her, her father left his wife and child to die, and the bandits raised her with this narrative.

They talk it out and now continue their do-goodery together 😎.

The first time I listened to Light at the End of the Tunnel (1984 OLC), after Poppa told Greaseball he could be converted to steam, the choreo that popped in my head was GB was led offstage during the first chorus, and then reappeared after a quick change during Belle's "with enough left over for a woo woo" as a steam train version of Greaseball, and then he and Dinah would hug or somethin.

So yeah, theres my headcanon :)

Finally done! In total I'd say I put about 10 hours into this piece? Im very amateur but I hope y'all enjoy!

The different sections include the Starlight Express logo, Bochum/Wembley Dinah, Rusty, Bochum/Wembley Greaseball, the National Engines, CB/Caboose, and Electra and their Components!

The components were probably the hardest, which is why they look the messiest lol.
