LUWTEN | Go Honey
From its opening chimes, it’s obvious there’s something magical going on in Go Honey, a thoroughly enchanting song from a new Dutch artist to watch, LUWTEN. Hints of trip hop, experimental pop, and jazz endow this gossamer folktronica debut. Go Honey, though subdued, is a spellbinding beauty. Dark yet sultry LUWTEN evokes a plethora of talent on her very first song. A touch of Feist unwinds around some murky Hundred Waters dreaminess, while a sprinkling of Zero 7 and a sliver of Pixx add to the song’s mysterious allure. Go Honey, our first taste from LUWTEN’s forthcoming self titled full length to be released this spring, is available now via Bandcamp. I may have found a new favorite debut.
