Lynian
Lynian's are an intelligent species (although of short stature) that to be mammalian in nature. They come in many shapes and ethnic or cultural variety.
The most common are the Felyne and Melynx, a more cat like variety. Felyne specifically are more common within human cities and fortitudes as they often take up jobs- especially in cooking and hunting. The Hunting Felyne's often refereed to as Palico's are often companions to Hunters and fight alongside them.
Meownster Hunters are also common, going out on their own instead of fighting alongside their human counter parts. Besides the cat like subspecies there are also the Primates such as the Shakalaka; more tribal and antagonistic towards humans but often keep to themselves and are rarely seen.
