The caring heart that I once possessed died long ago
Our next Resplendent is Lyon in Askran Attire
Some of his new voice lines:
"Somehow Ephraim always looks good, no matter what he wears."
"Eirika complimented me on my outfit. I appreciate her kindness."
where are all these children coming from and why are they all traumatized
is there a discernible pattern or are the secrets to my psyche safe
I do kind of wish there were unlockable Emblems for Fire Emblem's greatest villians. That should've been the Fell Xenologue's selling point, honestly. If good is bad and bad is good, then the protectors of that world should be the bloodthirsty monsters of games prior. Emblems who really don't like being here, but are kind of forced to be here anyways.
Think about it. Emblem Medeus, Emblem Berkut, Emblem Zephiel, Emblem Lyon, Emblem Walhart, etc. There's some great options in there. Lyon would've been the easiest to work with, since I think he's the most sympathetic of the villians I mentioned. But imagine these emblems. They'd be powerful and useful, but their bond conversations would be something amazing. They'd just be frustrated to be here, but I think they could make some connections. If we can have an Emblem Oliver, I feel like he could have some weird relationships with people. He was a bizarre slaver who was obsessed with beauty and thought he was the most beautiful man ever. He'd have something funny to offer.
I don't know why, but my brain suggested this concept to me once. And now I just still kind of wish it happened. Because villian emblems sounds like such a ridiculous but compelling concept. I love it.
