lysithea is a bit of a tsundere! she loves it when you are affectionate with her and praise her, but she also doesn't quite know how to reply or reciprocate those things, leading to her occasionally saying mean or awkward things in return–

you are always very sweet with lysithea and it honestly makes her heart melt! but she needs a little warning before you are affectionate with her or say anything nice!

especially if you manage to catch her off guard, like with a hug from behind that she didn't see coming, lysithea gets defensive and scolds you, all while blushing like crazy–

lyisthea knows you only have the purest intentions when you are nice to her, but she knows that some other people – like claude – will absolutely tease her about how lovey dovey you and her are! and she hates that!

in private, lysithea happily reciprocates any affection, cuddles with you, hugs you, kisses you… but in public, she keeps you at arms length, just to be safe

since the war ended, lysithea hadn't seen you again. you went from constantly seeing each other to radio silence just within a few weeks. you had been separated before, during the war, but somehow this time was different. 

lysithea had to restrain herself from sending letter after letter to you. she had already written two in the span of a week, yet she didn't even know why. well, she kind of did know why. she missed you! but why was that? why did she miss you? 

ever since you had reunited during the war, something had changed for lysithea. now you were occupying her mind and she didn't know why. she constantly thought of you, yet had no explanation for it. 

she just knew that she wanted to hear from you again. she wanted to see you smile at her again, be able to be close to you once more. she had gotten so desperate, that she would even settle for just a letter from you. she just needed to hear from you again…

Could I have Lysithea with "Whenever we're together, I feel at home", please? I realize her youth is uncomfortable, but... I need to see her happy. It doesn't have to be romantic, it could be platonic or "found family", but the poor girl needs some happiness, and I feel like you could really pull it off.

It was hard to find quiet moments like this. It had been, for the past five or so years. But you treasured them, more than Lysithea would ever realize, you were sure. That was fine, so long as you could see her little smiles, see the way her eyes widen as she learned something new or--

“Quit staring, its distracting.” Her voice, just as precious as the little pout she was giving you now, caught you from your thoughts.

“Hm?” Snapped out of your love-struck stupor, you blinked from your position cuddled into her lap. “What was that dear?”

“I-I said quit staring at me like that! I can’t concentrate when you look so… so…” She flustered easily, looking away from you and frowning.

“Aww, I’m just looking at you because I love you.” You cooed, sitting up properly now that she wanted to have a conversation with you.

“Don’t say that! It’s… embarrassing…” She looked away, cheeks filled with color as her pink eyes once again tried to focus on the words before her.

“It’s just the two of us! You’re allowed to let your guard down around me, you know?” You said softly, taking one of her hands in yours. “Like, when you were reading… you looked so peaceful.” You hummed, scooting in closer to her.

“I-I am! It’s just, well…” She took a deep breath, tapping her fingers against the top of your palm absentmindedly. “It’s just… hard for me to deal with these feelings, okay? I never really thought I would get to feel this happy or be this content… it almost feels wrong.” She sighed, snuggling in ever so closer to you. “I feel like I shouldn’t be this happy… and that because I am, something bad will happen soon.” She clutched your hand now, closing her eyes as she thought.

“Well… I certainly can’t predict the future.” You frowned, running your free hand through her hair absentmindedly. “But I do know when I’m with you, every hardship seems easier. If troubles do come, know you won’t have to face them alone Lysithea. I’ll always be by your side, good or bad.” You hummed softly after your words, giving her a moment to soak in the words and think of a response if any.

“You know…. Whenever we’re together, I feel at home.” She laughed, shaking her head slightly. “But home has always been something I was fighting to protect and save so I guess… I never really gave that up.” She admitted.

“It takes time. You can expect to soften all at once. And you don’t need to be all soft, like me. It’s nice that you can still be serious.” You smiled at her.

“I know.” She smiled, looking up at you through thick lashes. “Even if you make everything all mushy and confusing… you make it better so. You’re so important to me, I want to spend as much time with you as I can.”

“Me too…” You pulled her just a little closer, unable to bare thinking about a time you would come to part. “I’ll do everything I can to make sure we’re always together.”

Dating Lysithea

She whould be rather stubborn girlfriend but she is very patient with you.

Around you she whouldn't be too afraid to act like a child. But if you whould treat her like such she whouldn't be afraid to call you out.

Of course this behavior coming from you isn't too irritating but she still whould much prefer if you whould not do so.

She whould never forget about important celebrations such as your birthday or your anniversary.

But the way time flies does worry her. She wants to make you as happy as possible but she doesn't know how long can it last.

She isn't too comfortable with pda but she admits that it feels right when you two are alone.

Baking for you is something she does very often. Sharing sweets with you as the two of you just sit in yours or hers room is very relaxing. Of course you also provide sweets.

When it comes to battle she is aware of how strong you are and she doesn't tend to worry much. After all she is during battle herself so she can't afford to be distracted.

PDA With a Flirty and Affectionate S/O - Lorenz, Felix, and Lysithea

(lorenz, felix, and lysithea getting flustered by a flirty s/o is just my favorite thing, like??? just reaching out to hold their hand in public is such an ordeal to them, bless them)

As the heir to the noble house Gloucester, Lorenz has a reputation to uphold to the public and by extension — so do you. It would be utterly humiliating for Lorenz to sit in a meeting only to have the topic of ‘The Gloucester’s racy kiss at the park’ come up!

He does, however, accept linking your arms when the two of you are out walking together or a quick kiss on the cheek when no one is looking and he has an adequate amount of time to regain his composure.

He prides himself on his gentlemanly ways, and he will always place a kiss to the top of your hand upon greeting you.

•Lorenz is huge on doing little ‘gentlemanly’ deeds for you in public: opening doors, pulling out your chair, ordering your meals for you, etc... If ever there were a rule book on this sort of thing, he would definitely abide by it, word for word.

You always push the boundaries when you are dancing together, lowering your hand, inching closer, hovering your lips over his neck, etc... You have so much fun teasing him, until he accidentally steps on your foot

When in public, he is absolutely the type to swat your hand away if you try anything devious, although he does so in a playful manner. If you continually tease him, he will tell you that you are in for it later!

He will lecture you when you get home

He likes the closeness, and the warmth that comes with physical affection, but he will act like he has been stabbed if you try to hug him in public. He has a glare that puts all others to shame.

A big blusher! His whole face is aflame with pink within mere seconds of you touching him when out in public. He’s not very intimidating when he’s as bright as a cherry.

If and when he relents and lets you hold his hand, he will squeeze you in a vicelike grip to dissuade you into letting go — spoiler alert, you don’t. Eventually, his grip relaxes and he just lets you hold his hand, and will fight anyone who so much as stares.

• “What? Have you never seen a couple before? Tch, get a hobby”

Public flirting can either go one of two ways. He will either a) become a complete blushing mess and tell you to knock it off, or b) he whispers a rebuttal just low enough for you to hear that makes you twice as flustered

Sparring gives you excellent opportunities to flirt and fluster him to your heart’s content, which usually leads to him disarming you and pinning you to the nearest surface. If people are around he announces that it’s ONLY to surprise you and get you to stop, not for any other reason AT ALL.

Lysithea

If you reach out and grab her hand whilst walking, she will stare directly ahead, go silent, and turn bright red. She doesn’t motion to pull her hand away, as she likes the action, but is too shy and stubborn to say anything.

If you are taller than her and you reach down to kiss her on the cheek, she will scold you, and point her finger accusingly in your face. She does this to look tough, but it is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

Flirting in front of others earns you this treatment as well, and if you tease her enough, she will excuse the both of you, dragging you away with a pull of your arm to lead you around the corner, where no prying eyes can see, and kiss you.

Wiping frosting off of her cheek and licking your finger drives her wild.

Do not call her cute or use saccharinely sweet nicknames in public unless you have a death wish! She does not want Claude or Sylvain calling her ‘Shnookums’ nor ‘Cuddle-Bear’. It’s bad enough that Byleth overheard you refer to her as your ‘Strawberry Shortcake’; she will never forget that monotonous tone of the professor passing by her in the monastery, calling her ‘Strawberry Shortcake’ without a smile on their face.

A - Affection (How do they show their love and affection?) - Lysithea She becomes protective, always keeping an eye out for anyone or anything that can result in you being injured. If it is a person, she’ll unleash everything on them, showing no mercy to the point that it is downright terrifying. After the battle, Lysithea is instantly by your side and checking for anything - cuts, bruises, scratches.  

B - Blood (How messy are they willing to get?) - Sylvain Sylvain will do anything to keep you by his side. He is afraid that you’ll be taken away by others, become injured, or want nothing to do with him. Thus if it meant to kill some people so you’ll stay, Sylvain won’t even beat an eyelash. But remember he is much smarter than Sylvain let's know so the murder will be nice and clean, leaving nothing behind that could raise suspicion.

C - Cruelty (How would they treat their darling) - Lorenz  He’ll switch between compliments or insults. Lorenz will comment that his darling is perfect because how else could someone catch his attention and selective interest? But will always mock and insult his darling, saying how much of a surprise it is that he could fall for such a lowlife like you.

D - Darling (Would they do anything against their darling’s will?) - Rhea Rhea, if possible, will attempt to take control of everything in their life. When her darling can or will eat, when to shower, and what to wear. She is paranoid that if you gain just a small amount of freedom, you’ll escape. However, Rhea can’t understand why you’re miserable and not overjoyed to be with her. 

E - Exposed (How much of their heart do they bare to their darling?) - Annette She has always been emotionally open with everything and it wouldn’t be any different with you. She is so open and vulnerable with her heart that you could end up becoming the yandere instead since she’ll listen to whatever you say. Annette wants to make you happy. But if you start to look at others or make her feel less than you, she isn’t afraid to remind you that you’re the darling. 

F - Fight (How would they feel if their darling fought back?) - Petra Confused for two reasons. The first is fighting back in general because she loves you and you love her, in Petra’s mind that is, so why would you want to leave? The second is because Petra’s a talented and skillful fighter, and you’ve lost before even beginning really. It also hurts her each time, making her feel unloved. But it doesn’t mean she’ll give up until you stop rebelling.

G - Game (How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?) - Raphael His two favorite games are hidden and seek or tag because both are physical activities, making it a workout. Typically it’s tag since that’s the faster one and it is difficult to outrun someone like Raphael. If he is in a kind mood, he’ll play hide or seek. It takes the longest as you’ve learned good hiding spots and falsely gives you hope of escape.

H - Hell (What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?) - Seteth Likewise to Rhea, he enjoys being in control of everything and watching whatever you do. Especially when you cook, it lets him imagine what it would be like being married to his darling. Seteth often calls you by pet names to ease tension. However, he is busy often and can’t watch you, so Seteth keeps you locked up in a room without windows.

I - Ideals (What kind of future do they have in mind with their darling?) -Flayn  She wants to live somewhere in the countryside, giving both of you privacy and far enough to not have people around. Sometimes, Flayn longs to have children and grow old with you as characters in romantic books do.

J - Jealousy (Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?) - Felix Most people leave him and you’re always by his side so rarely does the chance to become jealous show up. But when Dimitri, or worse, Sylvain comes to speak with you and acts overly friendly. To anyone else, neither of them treats you that especially. However, that means nothing to Felix because once any slight jealousy begins to form, he’ll see red and lash out.

K - Kisses (How do they act around or with their darling?) - Manuela She loves having you all to herself because there is no one around to keep Manuela away from kissing, touching, or whispering in your ear. If there is skin that’s exposed, she’ll be unable to stop herself from kissing the spots and leaving long travels of it. Manuela loves clinging to you.

L - Love letters (How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?) - Dorothea Dorothea’s method of flirting isn't different from the usual but she’ll try to find ways for the two of you to have alone time, give personal gifts, or touch part of you if the chance shows up. She wants to mark you by putting her perfume on you, either covering you in her lipstick or letting you put it on. It seems very harmless and not out of the ordinary. But she is very aggressive when doing it.

M - Mask (Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?) - Bernadetta  Her anxiety and low self-esteem become much worse. She’ll cling to you, either by wrapping her arms around you or holding hands. Bernadetta needs to constantly have your attention or else she’ll start to become manipulative. It first starts as simple questions but if she hears something that Bernadetta doesn’t like, it will turn into demand until it ends up with you confessing your love to her. Regardless if it is true or not.

N - Naughty (How would they punish their darling?) - Dimitri If it is nonsexual, you’ll be locked in his room and belittled until tears, and denied basic human needs. However, sexually, you are covered in bites, bruises, and scratches. With either form of punishment, Dimitri isn’t kind and can be downright cruel.

O - Oppression (How many rights would they take away from their darling?) - Cyril Cyril refuses that you see specific people, Sylvain, or that you must dress in clothes that only please him. It isn’t noticeable, instead being very subtle and giving the belief that you’re able to do whatever you want. But don’t be mistaken because what Cyril says will go.

P - Patience (How patient are they with their darling?) - Jeritza Yes and no. It depends on which of his persona is in control. If it is the darker side, Jeritza is short-tempered and straight to the point, not having the desire to deal with whatever you’re doing. But if the personas are gone and he is in a good mood. Jeritza can be very patient and gentle, not caring what the two of you are doing as he wants to spend time with you.

Q - Quit (If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?) - Leonie If you’ve died, Leonie will be heartbroken and insoluble. She will become a husk, barely existing as a person anymore, and will become a death seeker on the battlefield in hopes that she’ll get to see you again. However, if you escape then Leonie will stop at nothing to get you back. She can’t live without you, so it’s obvious that means you’re unable to live without her, and all of this was just a silly mistake.

R - Regret (Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?) - Ashe A little. He wants you to be happy and healthy, and when you’re with him, it’s the opposite of that. But not having you by his side causes physical and emotional pain. It hurts so bad that if you leave or die, he’ll crave his own heart out so Ashe can’t let you leave. His depression will get worse, struggling with the idea of letting you be free or having you with him.

S - Stigma (What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?) - Hubert He grew up in a loveless household and had little control over choices, and after what happened to Edelgard, he snapped. Hubert didn’t understand nor know the real meaning of love and became curious about the idea of it. Thus when he found you, suddenly it clicked that his feelings for you are love. The curiosity turned into an obsession, however, because now Hubert needed you. Regardless if you love him back or not. 

T - Tears (How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?) - Ferdinand  To see you behave like this because of the situation, it will break his heart. But if it is because of something that he has done to make this happen, Ferdinand’s heart will shatter. He doesn’t like seeing any of these, especially the isolation. Ferdinand will do anything to make you feel better by giving gifts or affection. However, if you ask to be let go then he’ll turn cold and hostile, questioning why you would say that after all the nice things that Ferdinand’s done for you. 

U - Unique (Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?) - Claude He won’t kill anyone unless there is a big reason to. Although usually, the victims will become sick, either to the point of a small upset stomach or being deathly ill and bedridden. Neither will Claude use manipulation to keep you by his side. Instead, he will make you so in love with him that it just makes sense you want to often spend time with your lover. 

V - Vice (What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?) - Hilda It would be tricky because Hilda is physically strong, clever, and good at manipulating people emotionally. The only possible way to run away is by contacting her brother, lying that she was injured badly. Thus he could come down to check up on her, giving you a good amount of time to flee. 

W - Wit’s end (Would they ever hurt their darling?) - Catherine Not by choice and even if she did, it was mostly a bruise on the arm or wrist. Catherine is naturally strong and due to working out often, she has difficulty remembering her strength. It also doesn’t happen a lot for Catherine to recall it, so usually it’s an accident. But when you do get hurt, Catherine is quick to find ways to ease the injury and make you forgive her. 

X - Xoanon (How much would they revere or worship their darling?) - Dimitri Dimitri sees you as a divine being and isn’t afraid to show it by praising or spoiling you. Thankfully as king, he can buy whatever you want and even then will buy you more. Although, he is a jealous and possessive person so unfortunately there are no servants who can do simple things for you. Dimitri will refuse that you enter the battlefield, and if you put up a fight, he will order Dedue or another to keep an eye on you. Despite it not being true, you are delicate and fragile that can’t or mustn’t do anything.

Y - Yearn (How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?) - Edelgard Edelgard is a very patient and cautious woman, rarely rushing anything that could backfire. She is also a long-term planner so it’s hard to say for how long she has been in love with you and it’s unknown how long she would wait for you to love her naturally. However, the only way that Edelgard would snap and behave uncharacteristically is if there is a rival who seems to have a good chance of winning your heart then she will confess. 

Z - Zenith (Would they ever break their darling?) - Shamir Physically? No. But mentally and emotionally then yes. As an assassin, she knows how to torture people until given what she wants. So, if it takes force for you to become submissive then Shamir has no problem with it nor would it take long to happen. Despite it working, she would be sad and disappointed if you changed dramatically from it, becoming a husk.
