I think people are getting the wrong idea about the ED which makes me sad because it’s truly such a beautiful and amazing song, combined with the visuals I would easily pin this as my favourite ending. I don’t think the lyrics “The world is cruel but I still love you” is aimed at a particular person, it’s aimed at Paradis. The visuals surrounding Kid Eren completely make sense for this statement; his home is deemed an island of devil’s, the world is cruel to him and the Eldian’s. Eren vowed to protect it for all it is, everything it becomes and far into the future.

I am begging people to put timestamps on their posts ESPECIALLY if they're time sensitive. There's (as far as I know) no way to tell when a post was made on mobile and there are donation posts and outdated news stories from YEARS ago going around and it's impossible to tell if something is incredibly urgent, or from 5 years ago. Just timestamp your posts please and thanks
