Noah was struggling a little in the clinic. He had to be honest and admit that things didn’t go always his way because it took time for him to get used to changes, and well, he missed having Joon around because he always knew what he wanted before he even said anything. And it wasn’t like he had bad workers now, not at all, but he knew he just needed to get used to the new dynamics. Which was part of the reason why he was so surprised when someone tapped his shoulder and turning around, he saw Joon standing there. “I was just complaining about how we miss you around here!” And when he said we, he totally meant him, Lola, Elvis and Romeo. “You haven’t forgotten about us already, have you?”

“You know this is considered a distraction” Jamie commented before crashing his mouth against Joon’s lips- again- and honestly, he wasn’t complaining. Taking a break had been Jamie’s idea after all and his boyfriend had been waiting so patiently until he was done studying, that Jamie felt bad and in need of an urgent break. He chuckled when he pulled him onto the bed, smiling. “Okay, okay, I guess I’m allowed to be distracted for a few minutes, or a whole hour, I don’t mind”

“Shit, I don’t know why I’m crying, honestly, I’m such a mess, I’m sorry” Jamie said with a hiccup because it seemed like now that he had started crying he couldn’t stop. “I should be happy, like, she got better and now she’s at her house and not at the hospital anymore, and maybe I am crying because I’m happy, I don’t know” The patient he had talked all semester was finally able to go home, and Jamie was attached, since she was a toddler who liked playing with him and he always made sure to visit even when he wasn’t doing his rounds.

She signed, giggling. “That was in a Youtube clip but now I can ask you to marry me in ASL”

“Are we really going in there?” Dal asked as Joon grabbed her hand and leaded her into a store that she had never visited before. “Oh come on, they’ll know I can’t afford any of that the second they take a look at me!” She laughed, entertained. “Should we pretend to be rich people who are just looking to add a new car to their collection? Like, you know, the yellow Ferrari doesn’t match my dress, maybe I should get a red Porsche”
