Sorry I haven’t paint any of these sketches, but today I had to go out groceries shopping with my mom, and I felt tired after I arrived home. But meanwhile enjoy this.

Funny thing, a friend of mine said she looks a lot prettier in my drawing XD But actually, no. I think here she just looks like she should.

She’s not ugly, it’s just that dreamworks’ Madagascar cartoon-ished style doesn’t make her justice. I mean, look at her! Cute skin, gorgeous blue eyes, fine lips with a Marylin Monroe feature, and a beautiful red hair that looks awesome even when she jumps out a motorbike to reach a building corner or falls on a fountain!!!

Also, her body complexion fascinates me because it’s not like the “perfet” flawless unreachable figure a lot of the girls we are used to see on animated movies have.

This girl, just as she is, she feels more real and geniune than most “good team girls” and Disney princesses I’ve seen.  And she’s an very cool example of an empowered an independent woman who has no fear of doing stuff not much women would dare to do. It’s a shame she had to be portrayed as a villian instead of being on the “good guys team”.

Maybe I’m overanalyzing it, but I hope our “wonderful” western society doesn’t mean to say with this, that if you’re a woman who loves her career and wants to trascend, and have learned skills not much people have, then it’s a bad thing.
