So I didn't get this when it was sent apparently so I don't know if this is referencing anything specific like if I said something in a tag or whatever and you're asking about it so I'll just give my thoughts on garak in general

I think he's a really lonely lizard especially at the start of the series. He's isolated from his people and he clings to whatever contact he can with anyone (which is why he hits on Bashir in the first place probably) but he also is afraid of getting close to people because it's literally his specialty to Kill People that's what he was trained and raised to do

I think he has a lot of fun lying but it gets to a point where he physically cant communicate any other way. It changes a lot by season 7 of course because then he's actually invited to work with the main cast more and then there's Damar's rebellion arc which he joins and he gets to be sexier and his friends hit on his mom etc. And he makes genuine connections and he opens up a bit but not enough where he loses himself y'know he's still garak

He's also omnisexual purely bc mr robinson said he was so it's true

Really this guy just needs a support system tbh
