To answer ur actual questions Adrien and Sergei have similar senses of humor, and theyre both p involved in fey politics, but for the most part they bond over their shared interest in the more physical pleasures, and academic pursuits Sergei likes listening to Adrien ramble on about magic theory, and Sergei is a history buff so a lot of their early conversations tend to be passionate academic discussions with occasional flirting Sergei crushes on Adrien first and starts courting him, which Adrien doesnt figure out until a LOT later, because hes a dork Sergei loves Adriens passion, his humor, and his deep compassion that he tries to hide with a persona of charm and wit Adrien falls in love with Sergeis gentle smile and careful mannerisms, how mindful Sergei treats him, always concerned about Adriens comfort Adriens crush starts off more shallow but deepens as their relationship continues

Its a really slow romance at first, because Adrien has so little experience. Once Sergei finds out, he takes it down a notch or two and takes things at Adrien’s pace, because while Adrien is a grown, consenting adult, Sergei is an immortal fey with significantly more experience in romantic relationships, and Adrien has been the victim of abuse before After Adrien actually figures out that Sergei is flirting with him, and finishes freaking out, they take it really slowly and its mostly just a lot of cute coffee dates and talking things out. Sergei waits for Adrien to confess, and makes sure its what he erally wants, and makes sure Adrien knows he can back out of anything whenever he wants

Sergei spends a lot of time making sure what Adriens boundaries are and what he wants to try, and always asks before trying anything new. He also makes sure Adrien keeps in contact with his friends and doesnt hyperfocus on his new relationship and accidentally forget to interact with everyone else. A lot of their early relationship is Sergei helping adrien establish boundaries and communication, and helping him grow more comfortable in a relationship. Its why Adrien’s crush is sort of shallow at first, because at first he can’t really tell if he likes Sergei because he likes Sergei, or if he likes the attention. As time goes on and their relationship deepens, and Adrien becomes more comfortable and settled, Adrien stops crushing on Sergei and begins falling in love with Sergei himself. To take a line from kant, Adrien stops loving Sergei as a means to affection, and loves sergei for the sake of loving him, a means in itself. 

The two of them are really affectionate and cuddly, and prone to PDA, usually flirting whenever the two of them are around each other. As adrien and sergei are both very sexual people, their relationship is as well. They spend a lot of their time together enjoying each others company, talking, or training as Sergei initially met Adrien when he was hired to be Adrien’s swordplay instructor.
