The fact that Mary Keay had the Catalog of the Trapped Dead and didn't even let Gerry see his father is so fucked up to me. Eric, even as wiggly as personality can be in the Catalog, really cared about Gerry. He wanted to keep him safe from Mary.

He was right there. All those years. And Gerry never got to meet him.

I don't even know how to quantify why or how that's so tragic and terrible for me.

The last episode of the show without Martin in it is MAG155. In every episode following (including all of season 5) he makes an appearance, but not here. And it's interesting that his final disappearance from the narrative happens directly after he rejects Jon's proposal in 154. This is the last time Martin is off-tape for us -- it's the last time he's ever truly alone. On a meta level, I find that very satisfying.
