It's really not uncommon for trans boys to be obsessed with feeling masculine, since, for a lot of trans boys, people around them don't see them as 'real men' and I think its a bit ignorant for you to assume that someone who likes/obsesses over masculinity cant be a trans man? I really mean this in the best way and not trying to be hostile. I just wanted to offer another perspective on it and hope you take it into consideration when you talk about this subject in the future is all. ♥
Hello! I meant it in the other way, I wasn’t saying he can’t be trans bc of those things, I’m saying it’d be a good fit for him to be trans bc of it! <3 Sorry if I wasn’t clear about the way I phrased that but I am def not saying he can’t be trans!
When I said “He’s a guy who’s obsessed with the idea of being masculine/macho, so either way would fit him“, I mean both cis and trans would be a good fit as an identity, bc you can see the obsession with masculinity as a cultural problem in latino boys or you can see it as a trans boy trying to be masculine to be seen as a “real man”.

“Can you imagine it?” Shiro asked with a wide smile on his face as he stared up at the giant ship that would soon launch him and the Holts off into space as they headed towards Kerberos. He was a little more than excited. And he wanted to share this moment with Keith.
“It’ll be great, Shiro.”
This caused him to turn towards the other, eyebrows furrowed together with concern. Something was off. Keith usually called him Takashi when they were alone.
“Is everything alright, Keith?” He asked. He had to be careful, get a read before he did anything.
Sad amethyst eyes looked up him. His hand reached out and pulled on Shiro’s jacket. Don’t go. He seemed to say without uttering a word. Shiro pulled him close, enveloping him smaller frame in his chest.
“I won’t be long. In a year’s time you’ll see me again. And we’ll have time to go over all the stupid trends I missed while I was gone. And then we’ll apply for the next trip together. We’re a tag team, you and me. There isn’t anything in this universe that can tear us apart.”
Keith shook slightly in Shiro’s arms. They stood there in each other’s embrace for a long while, just holding each other and letting Shiro’s gentle hands rub circles into Keith’s back while Keith clung to Shiro like it was life support.
They both needed this, needed each other. And they’d be damned if they let the other go so easily.

I made a new blog and forgot to refollow you until just now because I saw your name on a post on my dashboard. but like, when I hovered over it, it said you were deactivated and my hEART SANK I was so scared you had left tumblr. I would be so sad if that happened, you're like one of my favorite blogs. I'm glad you're not actually deactivated. :')

ye, im just flopping in bed for now & dont plan on doing much of anything until at least tomorrow. worst comes to worst, nothings Really An Issue until sunday when i have to drive the 4-5 hours back home, so ive got time to rest up and get better
