Arthur Weasley and Ramsey Goyle → Arthur Weasley’s department, the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts office, is attacked. Arthur finds himself face to face with a Death Eater, but perhaps the many cursed and magically-booby-trapped muggle objects in the office will lend a hand in the fight. Behind the Death Eater’s mask Ramsey Goyle is dealing with the fact that it is his birthday and there are surely better ways to celebrate it than battling a blood traitor, especially when the fight doesn’t turn out to be as easy as he expected.

Walden Macnair and James Potter → James Potter comes to the rescue of a terrified Daily Prophet employee who has been cornered by a Death Eater. Walden Macnair is less than pleased to have his fun interrupted by the Order member, but figures he’ll make the most of it with the duel. If there’s anyone who can find the fun in a dangerous situation, it’s Walden Macnair.

Alastor Moody and Edgar Bones → Edgar Bones’ Research office has put out more than a few papers and reports on Muggles and how fascinating and essential they are, enough to have attracted the attention and ire of the Dark Lord. Edgar is doing his best to hold his own and protect his co-workers against the Death Eaters, but he’s relieved when Alastor Moody shows up to lend a hand! Even between the two of them, this will be no easy fight.

Igor Karkaroff and Marlene McKinnon → Marlene McKinnon, in full Hit Witch mode, hurries to the aid of the Muggle Liaison Office when it is attacked. The Death Eater she faces off against is near silent, but capable of vicious attacks. Marlene is determined to take him down. All Igor Karkaroff wants to do is finish this mission and get to safety. He didn’t ask for a battle of wits as well as a battle of wands!

Tilden Toots and Severus Snape → Tilden hurries to the scene of the attack on the Daily Prophet offices and soon finds himself face to face with one of the Death Eaters leading the assault. While the battle seems black and white to him, it’s less so for the man behind the mask: Severus Snape. Confronted with one of his few friends being in the Order of the Phoenix is bad enough, but worse still when all he wants to do is duel you!

Molly Weasley and Sirius Black → After Sirius Black is injured in the attack on the Daily Prophet, he is taken to the Weasley house -- the designated safehouse for the day -- to heal. Never one to be calm or know how to sit still, he’s restless to get back out there and see if there’s more he can do to fight in the attacks. Molly isn’t about to let one of her charges go back into danger when he’s recovering, though, and she’s no easy obstacle to dodge! Can Sirius find comfort in conversation with Molly, who knows what it’s like to be on the edge of the battles, feeling like there’s more to be done? Or will Molly scold him for throwing himself into danger, as she worries Arthur will do? Her nerves are shattered, after all, what with Arthur’s office having been attacked.

Narcissa Malfoy and Septimus Crabbe → Stoked for a fight, Septimus Crabbe finds himself caught between his orders from Voldemort and his loyalty to the Malfoy family when he spots Narcissa Malfoy in Diagon Alley just as the attacks are getting underway. Aware of the suspicion already swirling around the Malfoys, he hastens to get Narcissa out of danger and out of sight, lest anyone draw a connection between her presence and the Death Eaters.

Emmeline Vance and Lily Potter → Emmeline Vance and Lily Potter work side-by-side in the aftermath of the attacks, wielding Healing spells and potions to save who they can find in the destruction. Witnessing the effects of the violence, they must lean on each other for support.

Charity Burbage and Remus Lupin → In the aftermath of the attack on the Ministry, Charity Burbage finds herself drawn to the scene of her former workplace, the Muggle Liaison Office. Faced with the destruction of a once-beloved place and the deaths of her former coworkers, she must make a choice. Will she spiral back into despair or fight past it to keep on the path of reclaiming her life and happiness? Remus Lupin, lending his aid to the rescue and recovery, finds Charity amidst the wreckage. Can he help her make sense of the madness?
