Anti-Hostility Buttermilk Pie: The Secret to a Peaceful Holiday with your Family 🥧
So, I know the holiday season is pretty much halfway over by now, but I thought I'd share this spell since I tried it recently and it worked tremendously. This is a spell for anyone who spends time around their family for the holiday, but doesn't necessarily have the happiest family in the world. I made this spell because my family fights a lot when they're together and I always make this pie for the holidays, so I thought I would put it to good use. Also, disclaimer, I'm not at all a kitchen witch and this is the first time I've ever put magick into food, so I apologize if anything is done wrong lol. It just worked out great for me so I thought I'd share it. Also, you can change or tweak anything to suit your own needs or preferences.

Cinnamon – to ward off any negativity or negative emotions
Lemon juice – to cleanse the energy of whoever eats the pie
Nutmeg – to banish any negativity or hurtful energy (*can also be given the intention of making your guests leave your home quickly if you do not want them to stay for long.*)
2 cups of sugar – to make the people who eat the pie sweet and kind
1 tsp of vanilla – to make the energy in the home peaceful and warm
1.) After cleansing and giving the intention to each ingredient, cream together ½ cup of butter & 2 cups of sugar in a mixing bowl.
2.) Slightly beat 3 eggs, take 3 tbsp of flour, then stir in all of it into the bowl. (for a better result, add 1 egg and 1 tbsp of flour at a time to the bowl and fully stir into the mix each time.)
3.) Add and stir in 1 cup of buttermilk.
4.) Add 1.5 tsp of vanilla, a few splashes of lemon juice, 2 pinches of nutmeg, and a dash of cinnamon to the mix. (The measurements for these ingredients aren't exact. You can add in however much feels right to you, and you can also add anything that's not listed that you want).
5.) Stir everything together. Put the intention of negativity being banished and peaceful/harmonious energy being brought in to the home.
6.) Pour mix into the deep-dish pie crust.
7.) Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top of the pie and crust. Then, sprinkle the cinnamon in the shape of a pentagram/protection sigil to protect the pie/spell from outside interference.
8.) Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes. Check at 30 minutes. Add 5 minutes if pie isn't done at the 50-minute mark. You know it is done when the center of the pie does not seem liquid-y and doesn’t heavily jiggle.
9.) Let cool, then serve.

Pretty simple and nothing too complicated. I'm not much of a baker, but I find this pie to be pretty easy and effective. It takes me about an hour in total.
Hope this is helpful to those who need it!
