A devotional spread in my art journal/BoS for Artemis, goddess of the hunt. The prompts for day 3 & 4 of #autumnmagicweek2019 was "Autumn Leaves" and "Antlers" and I thought it was a great excuse to spend some time honoring this powerful goddess this season.
I have had THE MOST AMAZING WEEK. Four days of intense writing panels, pitching my book and having my full manuscript requested, meeting a ton of other wonder writers and editors, going to New York City for the first time and seeing Avenue Q, Kinky Boots, Ground Zero, the Botanical Gardens, the Natural History Museum, experiencing a performance on a train, among so much more. I wish I could sleep for a week after everything, but now it's time to get back to work. I just wanted to share! Also I have pictures if anyone wants to see!
Day Four of #springmagicweek2019 , today's prompt is "Misty Falls". My project for this prompt was ice dying this altar/tarot cloth. I collected rain water from a recent storm, froze it, then used the ice in the process of dying the fabric. Watching the watercolor effects naturally form on the fabric as the ice melted down over it was such a magical process to watch. This was a fun one and I hope my friend likes this little gift box.
Prepping for #springmagicweek2019 by drying out some dandelions. Me and the kids had a blast collecting these beauties. Looking forward to working some magic with them soon!
