Next in the cast… Tuó Shòu Shih! Tuó Shòu is Háo’s brother and while he’s on the Consideration For Cuffs list, he is not a part of the afterschool program with the others. In fact, he’s wanted for murder.
But no one could ever punish him more than he punishes himself.
He still has a goal to complete, to break his family curse, even just to save Háo from it.
Would you trust him?
Koa Seraceno is a character I’ve had for a long time but has change to hold the heartbreak of needing to leave a toxic friendship. She’s a dancer and is fiercely protective of her sibling, even if they’re older. She’s also Shylon’s best friend!
Kimberly Koresh!
She’s bold, a fierce performer, and dreams of being an idol. She used to be best friends with Koa, but they no longer are and she thinks it was a mistake and unfair.
She is a character I’ve used to understand a different opposing perspective, and a character I hope to see grow.
Devon Seraceno! Koa’s sibling. They are extremely smart but have a lot of work to do for self love. They’ll use every ounce of their Talent to help anyone else feel more right in their body, even if it’s risky.
Devon is a character I use to explore how disabling depression and self image dysmorphia can be—and the journey of asking for help.

I love how the tornado doesn't look malicious. She's just dancing along, doing her thing, and it's a pity you're so very ant-sized below.
tumblr will turn anything into a girl
of course, this is the turning into a girl website
I do believe the girl is turning already
So like… Gon and Killua. They’re like…. Soulmates or something, right?
This is beautiful thank you lol
Next question: I’m watching the 2011 one. Should I watch… the…. Other one? I think I remember the creator has health issues and releases only when he can? Which, so good, so strong. Someone fill me in lol
How dare they not stay on the same path at the end

Is it bad that I feel slightly bad that I keep coming to the library to use its quietness and its desk space and its pleasant atmosphere for writing but I never check out books?
Why would you feel bad? You’re using the library for one of its intended purposes. The desks, WiFi, space etc are LITERALLY there for you to do exactly what you’re doing AND each time you go in you add to the foot traffic numbers that prove hey people are coming in to use our stuff mr. government so keep funding us.
Confirmed by another public librarian. One of the stats we track is "WiFi usages"
That is, we track number of sessions/devices using it over time.
The library is not about snooping on what you're doing with that WiFi. Libraries respect privacy.
We literally have a door counter at my library. Congratulations, you just added to our statistics.
I think it's a bit sad that with more and more public spaces vanishing, people are feeling bad about not "buying" stuff to "earn" their time at a library.
A library is like a park, you're allowed to just. Exist in it.
I check out books every 4 weeks, when the learning period from my current books is up, but I go much more frequently with my kid to just sit there and read to them, and that's okay. In my school days, we'd go and do our research for presentations there, just reading, never checking out.
A library is a space to just exist.
So a year or so ago, we added some new desklets at our library, in areas where we noticed that people gravitated to but didn't have the right furnishing to use them in the way they wanted to.
The first few weeks of having the new furniture were absolutely filled with excited librarians whispering to each other, "Look! Someone's using the desklet in the back corner!" and "casually" walking by to enjoy the sight like wildlife researchers who had successfully baited a particularly elusive rare bird. Nobody cared if those people checked anything out or not. There was a need! We saw the need! We filled the need! Hooray!
WE PUT THE THING THERE TO BE USED. USE THE THING.

My car was broken into, window smashed, and my art merch was stolen and I am just so goddamn tired.
Haó Shih, one of the Main Characters of Afterschool Bandits! He’s trans and has a loose relationship with gender.
His goal is to bring his brother home, who went off to find a cure for their family curse, leaving Haó to fend for himself. He was lost in the system and likes to appeal to all sorts for a safe place to sleep and money to get by, until he’s finally noticed by the right people.
Haó is a character I’ve had for literally two decades, and I’m glad he’s finally getting a focus. :)
Lawliet Rohan is one of the students in the afterschool program! He’s actually homeschooled and is one of the few who already has magic binding cuffs, his adapted to help with the nerve pain caused by his Type 1 Diabetes—can you see the other indicators of this disability?
He comes off as quiet and easily startled. Maybe he can earn his magic back, by learning how to control it? He’s lost, and trying to find a direction to go.
Fun fact: I had Lawliet’s full arc planned before any other’s. 😉
Alya Greene, my strongest character in-universe.
I wanted to see more like her. 💕
She’s a Virtuoso, a guardian of citizens, protecting them from corrupted familiars.
Employed from the Government yet seeking peace, she is often put in questionable positions. She is for protecting and uplifting the vulnerable, making her one of the biggest allies of the Afterschool Bandits!
they just created a new type of enjoyment called "friends' ocs." it kind of rocks and everyone should enjoy it
