Silver Car Crash - Magical Cloudz

I fully agree that it’s a wonderful feeling when you can connect with a song beyond the surface level. I am however having a bit of difficulty fully connecting with this song, some of the lyrics ring true to me such as “I am afraid of love if I’m not perfect then it will let me starve” due to how hard it can feel to find love and how much it can feel like everyone is searching for the perfect person for them.

The second half of that verse “but I am always perfect when I am holding onto you”. I feel could be perceived two ways. Either that love overlooks imperfections so you are perfect when you're with someone who loves you or as the singer believe that love will make them perfect.
