Alex smiled evilly as she watched the blood trickle down the girl's upper arm. "Please... please stop..." the girl pleaded. Her face was wet and her eyes were bloodshot from crying. Her arms were bloody and her white jeans had stains of red from the cuts on her face. Alex sighed a sympathetic kind of sigh. "You know, I would... but... where's the fun in that?" she asked, pouting with her eyebrows furrowed. She pulled grabbed a chair and opened her legs to sit on it, her front side against the back of the chair, the knife still in her right hand. Alex lifted her left hand and grabbed the girl's face by her chin, cupping it firmly. She pressed her fingers into her face, causing her to let out a small whimper.
"You know, I feel bad about the fact that I don't know your name," Alex said. "Do you mind telling me the name people identify this beautiful face with?" The girl swallowed and showed a face of disgust. "Clearly, you're not going to answer me without a little persuasion..." Alex brought the knife up to the girl's cheek. "Well?" The girl looked at Alex for a moment before answering through gritted teeth: "Catherina." Alex nodded, taking it in. "Ca....th...err...iiinaaa..." she said, moving it around her mouth, savouring the taste of the never before heard name. "Good. I like to know the names of my victims. Before, you know, I kill them." she said. "Oh, but no no no. Don't need to worry just yet. I need to save some of you for Thomas..." she grinned, letting go of the girls face.
